We came for our 30th anniversary dinner and had a fabulous time. Most Chinese restaurants have become storefront, take-out places. Trey Yuen is what we call a "sit-down place" - you can actually sit down and eat like a real restaurant. Very nice, calm atmosphere. The koi pond outside, the decor inside, cloth tablecloths and napkins, heavy silverware, all are very nice. Made for a great experience overall. Our server Amir was friendly and answered all our questions. He was very efficient and took good care of us without hovering over us constantly. The owner/chef came by our table a couple of times to check on us. Also very friendly and welcoming. I was impressed beyond words with the pot stickers! I have had a million of them over the years and these really stand out. They are larger and stuffed fuller than I usually find. I complimented the chef when he came around and he said "Those are hand made. They don't come from Sam's."

Love this landmark restaurant for its incredible ambiance and delicious Chinese food that is constantly superb. We drive in from Mississippi to satisfy our craving. The staff is so friendly and efficient and Mr Tommy still makes the rounds to chat and make sure all is up to his standards.

Over many years I've had Trey Yuen food many times because of friends and co-workers of my other half had to eat Trey Yuen Chinese food. I grew up in a city with a China Town and my grandfather had a manufacturing business there. So... I know good from average and down from there. Trey Yuen out of kindness (because where it's located) is average. The Golden Wok near Walmart is far superior to me and the people that run it are top notch. Since we only do take out, I insist on Golden Wok. Sorry Charlie, but this 3 star rating is out of kindness!

I have tried a few dishes here, but my two favorites are the Special Steak and Combination Lo Mein. We also enjoy the Crab Rangoons. The other dishes I have tried were okay, but you can't go wrong with the Special Steak.
