My husband and I have been customers since moving here in 2021. The food is, and always has been amazing and overall zen is our go-to for hibachi and sushi needs. The owner is very personable and always made time to speak to us when he was in. The staff is always diligent and helpful, and the food usually comes out quick.I’ve seen a few reviews regarding the loud and chaotic atmosphere- and I do have to agree. BUT! If you ask kindly, they are usually always more than happy to turn the music down a little. Overall I recommend zen to everyone, and always bring my out of town friends and family in!

Food was good, and theyre very nice, but their menu prices are dishonest. The menu has "CASH PRICE" on just about every page, and all I had was card. When I asked what the card prices were, she said that it just meant there's a 4% discount for cash customers. That's fine! But when I was given the bill, each thing I ordered was $1-2 more per item than what the menu listed. The menu says that cash customers get a 4% discount, but in reality card customers get charged 4% more, which is not the same thing mathematically.Theyre also very disorganized, and I got my sushi like 20 minutes after my friend got his soba, and the wrong sushi was brought to my table.Overall, it was an okay experience, and the fact that the food was good is the only reason I might come back if invited.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! Will definitely come back again, the moment you get there the entire set up from outside going in is just an art piece of a place! The food is also amazing and they pay attention to detail in their food. Haven't had a single bad thing to say about this place, definitely go enjoy it ?Wheelchair accessibility: I am in a wheelchair, and I was treated very well..some area are a little tight but there is definitely accessibility

Please include sauces on 140-200 dollar sushi order. Please? Why? This is the cheapest, most ridiculous thing. People cannot enjoy the meal without soy sauce or condiments. It's part of the meal. Sigh...

I'm a regular customer and food was good as it always is. I was just disappointed with the quality of service. I my opinion serves shouldn't be waiting on tables with limited English.Server messed up my wife and I order. Also charged my credit card for another customers order. I'm waiting for Discover to give me credit. Hopefully this happens soon so I don't have to go back.

This review is based off of a few years of eating here and I've wrote, deleted, rewrote, edited, deleted, and finally writing this one over that time. This was one of my favorite restaurants and this is my first visit in five months because of an incident that put it at the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. Prior to that about a year ago, I actually had been served a bowl of ramen with a scouring pad still in the bowl. So this review is something of a third chance I guess.I do like the food and the atmosphere but do feel like this is a very ok experience for the cost. The rolls are beautiful depending on what you order but very typical and lighter fare seems like it doesn't have as much attention behind it. And obviously the $18 roll will be fancy, but the spicy tuna rolls which are far simpler seems like they don't care about it and the quality suffers. If you order Hibachi lunch box, it does come with a substantial amount of food of pretty decent quality. Cheaper rolls are on par with grocery store quality, and the appetizers are good but pricey.essentially you can have a very good meal here, but you will be shelling out some extra bucks to do so.I really hate to say this, but I think with the over saturation of Asian cuisine in the area, you can find a dozen better places within a ten minute drive.

Feb 2024.We went back again yesterday, Sunday after the lunch crowd. The food again was AmaXing! The Japanese chicken nuggets were incredible! The tempura crab legs a tasty treat. The ramen soup was a bit salty but the pork inside was so tender and flavorful. We highly recommend the Tokeyo rice. Delicious! I never get dessert but we tried the tempura cheesecake and Mochi and we're blissfully pleased.Prices comparable to other local restaurants, not cheap but not too pricey either. The flavors will keep you coming back.......................Second visit in two weeks. This menu is A-MAZ-ING!!!! Angel is the BEST waitress Everrrrr! Get the pork belly or snow crab bowl. Omg! Today I had the shrimp and pork fried rice...so much flavor and hearty portions. Keep this place in business. Omg! Our friends love it here. This is our new Sunday spot. Ask for Angela ❤️❤️❤️Sky & Chase

While the food isn’t bad, be prepared to wait.We dined in around 5pm on a Saturday. Seated immediately with 3-4 other tables. We ordered two appetizers, two adult entrees (one hibachi, one sushi) and a kids entree (chicken fried rice.)The kids entree and the first appetizer (spring rolls arrived in a timely fashion, even with it being odd to get an entree with our appetizer. Then the hibachi came out about 10mins later. We then proceeded to wait another 45mins for the second entree (sushi) and appetizer (salad). When we attempted to remove the appetizer, we were informed that “it had already been made and would be out in a minute…” 15 mins before it arrived.By the time we received both entrees, the first one had long gone cold.Overall very negative experience. Highly recommend dining elsewhere.
