Of all places a seafood restaurant on a Friday night during the Lent which Google says they close at 9:00 they close at 8:00 p.m. and then when you call and complain what we're just a business trying to make it obviously you're closing at 8:00 at night on a Friday night you're not trying to make it You're just there to show your presents that you a business that's never open. That tells you that people that work the 6:00 7:00 at night and they want to go eat there can't even have an opportunity to go eat there because they don't care about the people that actually work they all just want to work on and look at the welfare recipients that don't have a life and get that free government money that's all there looking to get That's it they're not worried about the working man's money. It's just ridiculous that they close at 8:00 p.m. on a Friday night.

Westbank if New Orleans in Harvey, old school decor, metal building, boil and fry shack out back, big to go business, serves all the favorites, menu written on chalk board, crabs, boiled crawfish, red beans, thin cut fried catfish & shrimp, fries with tony's seasoning, gumbo loaded with chicken. Hard pass on the Jambalaya unless you like just a side of rice cooked with tomato. Cold Barq's Rootbeer in a bottle. Affordable, especially of you buy big quantity of fried fish. Food was tasty and seasoned. Personally, Fish could be more crisp, crawfish could be spicier, sides like corn and potatoes were not included in the price. Had to chase down a plastic silverware 5 minutes after served the gumbo. Got a spoon. Never saw a fork or knife. Staff hangs in back of kitchen or outside. Boiled crawfish places usually offer condiments. None here. But, those are the quirks of small town, old school restaurants like Sals. I would eat here again now that I know the drill. You will be filled.

Walked in and was greeted by two sweet ladies, the menu all looked delicious! Had to try my all time go-to: shrimp poboy, all dressed. It was outstanding! Shrimp were crisp, fresh, and well seasoned; bread was fresh and toasted crispy ?Inhaled the whole thang in no time, no crumbs left

The food is absolutely fantastic! All fresh! I personally had the fish a few different ways and boiled shrimp. The waitress was also extremely friendly and helpful with all of our needs! If you're visiting Louisiana for the food, this is your one stop shop! I will be back!

Favorite seafood place growing up, although it has been a little too salty for my preference lately. So many memories eating here with my family. Sal’s def has the best stuffed artichoke in town !!! Hands down! I will come here just for this!!!
Stopped in for lunch and were the only customers so far. Staff were very kind and attentive. The waitress explained what everything was and listed off several things they were out of. Bummed that they were out of both gumbo and only had small crabs. Food we did get was hot and fresh! Lots of locals streamed in after we got our food.Overall, would come back!
Good, but expensive.
