Lundigras day . They were getting slammed but were polite and honest about wait times for food . I had a beer and the wait time was only 45 minutes. No quality decline on the roast beef bo boy in spite of the crowd. Onion rings a must. Old school establishment where everyone knows each other. Priceless. Glenn

I went with two other adults and my grandson. Weather was cold and rainy (just the way I like it). Ordered Gravy Cheese Fries appetizer and regular roast beef poboy, dressed. Appetizer was plenty for four people. Food was delicious. (Large poboy would be too much to eat.) Poboy came with fries and a drink. Food was very good, service was adequate. Atmosphere unremarkable. BUT, we had to wait in line to get a seat. Good food and good company on a cold, rainy day made this very enjoyable. Will go again.
I highly DO NOT recommend this place!!! They are EXTREMELY expensive and the employees are so rude!!! I went to pick up and order that should have been ready at 11:43 and I'm still sitting here at 11:55!!!! This is very annoying. It's absolutely unbelievable. It was no one in here!!!!! I wouldn't give it a one if I didn't have to

Its small and next door to the oldest bar in Metairie. Servers are helpful as heck. Ordered at the checkout counter instead of phoning in to make sure I could get a parking space. Ordered surf and turf poboy. It was soo good. Ill do that again. After my order, server told me it could be between 30 and 45 minutes. Since it was crowded I told her I would wait in my truck and come back in 30 minutes. She offered to take my number and call me when it was ready. She called 30 minutes later and was calling my name when I walked in. I really liked how they handled that. If you read this far, give them a try and try to save a parking spot for me
