We found this restaurant by accident. We had a drink with appetizers. We had the grilled oysters, a seafood dip with garlic bread and barbque shimp. The oysters and dip was amazing, the shrimp was missing a little flavor. Our server was very nice and attentive. We will go there again

We were a group of 8 on a Friday. Still. Oh my gosh one guest order onion rings and two had soup. Onion rings never came. He cancelled it. Both soups were so spicy you needed water as you ate. One guess didn't finish his. When the meals finally came -Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. Parmesan, Alfredo (too thick) w/veal, Shrimp plate& a sandwich (Huge shrimp). Trout-rectangular-but large pieces. It took 2 hours from start to finish. They seemed short handed. I don't blame anyone. It's just the way it is now.

Today is my anniversary, and my husband and I chose Bistro Orleans for a celebratory meal. I chose the Blackened Redfish over rice (which turned out to be a rice in tomato sauce) and the missing spicy cream sauce. Opted to switch the rice for pasta w/Alfredo sauce ( an additional $6 charge). Then, I tried the fried green tomatoes. NOT! Was supposed to be served with a remoulade sauce (also forgotten). The tomatoes weren't crispy! On the other hand, my husband ordered the Pasta YaYa, and it was wonderful. He also ordered breaded pork chops to go, and when it arrived at our table, they were BLACKENED! I'm not certain if the back of the house is familiar with the menu or just inadvertently makes changes to customers' orders. However, I will try one more time, maybe during dinner. The best experience I had was with our wait staff (Brody), he was pleasant, apologetic, and very accommodating. I will most definitely revise my review upon my next visit.
Oysters on the half shell - we were told they were medium sized. HA! They were small at best! $20.99 for a dozen oyster scraps! Even though the menu said $19.99! The entrees were quite tasty but overpriced for the portion sizes and not even a gratuitous side salad.

First time , we picked up an order and ate at home. My daughter got the catfish ? It was really really good. Well seasoned and I’d say the best I’ve had in so long. Husband had the catfish and jambalaya , he liked the catfish a lot also. Jambalaya was good a little spicy it’s a red jambalaya but we like that. I had the red beans which sadly I did not like , just didn’t have much taste except the sausage which was very spicy but I didn’t finish it but I would definitely go back and try other things . Guy who answered the phone was nice .

Went with a group for lunch and found a very healthy live MAGGOT on my plate. The waitress swept it of the table with a rag and asked if we wanted a new table. She was not shocked when I showed it to her so they are aware they have maggots.
