We visited the Dickeys in Chalmette. There were two guys working when we stopped by to dine in and they were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere was also very welcoming, and the restaurant was noticeably clean. The loaded baked potato casserole with pulled pork and the pulled pork sandwich were great. The mac and cheese was also pretty good. Try the lemonade when you go, it tasted homemade. I'd give the service and food 5 stars. We will be returning soon.
Ordered on door dash, my dasher waited for about 15-20 mins & for what? My food was old, not hot, nor tastee. Never again, I really thought this was the one on the westbank??♀️

The brisket that I had was extremely dry! When I tried to get in contact with the store I couldn’t. I called several times but couldn’t get anyone on the phone. When I was able to get back to the store today, I was not greeted by the rudest manager I’ve ever encountered. She admitted that there phones were down. Asked me if I had the actual food with me or pictures! I explained that this incident was Thursday and of course I didn’t have the food or pictures. I even showed her my call log to show I had been calling the past few days. She basically wasted my time arguing and said my food wouldn’t be replaced. Nasty! Will never patronize this place again! As someone with years of experience in the restaurant industry this should have been handled differently.

I was extremely disappointed in the cleanliness of the entire store. I used to frequent this place very often, but it is really disgustingly dirty and the food was not very good today. I had a brisket sandwich that was full of fat. They said they had no fries and it was lunchtime and then they decided they could cut some and cook them for us, which were undercooked and super greasy. They were too busy with a catering order to take care of the in-store patrons. So disappointed! Will never return.

The food was unbelievably cold. Like not just a little less warm...it was colder than lukewarm. We ate inside. Waited 15 minutes for our food thinking we were getting something fresh and it was cold and stale. Very disappointed. Won't be coming back.

usually the brisket is nice thick , brown, FULLY COOKED & flavorful. But seems when you order door dash the brisket is always raw literally. The sides are never warmed. They throw anything in your bag. This is not mc donald’s we are paying damn near $20 for ONE combo .. DO BETTER !!!!!!Kid-friendliness: na

Absolutely horrible attitude, atmosphere zero professionalism.The woman kept yelling what chu want after we said we needed a moment, 2 of the 4 items we ordered were "OUT" and it was 12 pm on a Sunday, she was obviously miffed seems like she opened alone, floors were so greasy I would be concerned it's a slip hazard for any one over 70. Whole place was smoked out. Ivlce cream machine has been out 2 months and was filthy.She's griping behind the counter while we're eating about random things then another employee shows up I can only assume she was late? She brings her kid in he was here 2 months ago too she starts yelling I do mean yelling at him to sit down, they start gaming and griping with each other behind the counter and the kids is taking an entire booth as he was last time while yelling BEEP BEEP while playing with toys. I am shocked this joint is still open.I do hope the owner sees this this has all the tells of an absent owner and you are headed for ruin.itd better to shutdown then to have this represent your place of business.I didn't spend 40 bucks for that experience won't be duped again and contacting corporate.

One thing I can't stand is visiting an establishment, with the intention to PAY MY MONEY to that business, and end up leaving angry or frustrated. I should've read the reviews before driving from Orleans Parish to come here. The ONE thing we wanted, they didn't have ready... potatoes! How is a business open but don't have the products ready? From the reviews, this is the norm here, and the higher ups don't do anything to correct it. They don't have to worry about me returning, I'll spend my money at the BBQ restaurants in Orleans.

I've tried to order from here 3 times and have food delivered to my house. And all 3 times it's been cancelled and they didn't have food. Tonight I ordered 2 rib plates at 6:00 pm they accepted my order then the driver arrived to get it only to not have ribs! No phone call or anything. I'm sorry, you're just out of the main thing you sell. I get it your cooking things off at a par. But man that's tough. And 3 times. Come on, do better. Communication was horrid as was missed experience again. Zero stars. Scott f
