This place is way too tasty to not be slammed! I had 3 birria tacos and they were ooey gooey meaty and super tasty. The prices are exactly where they should be for what you get.I'll definitely be here again for lunch.Oh yea, $2 taco tuesdays!!!

I KNOW there have been some nasty places in this strip before but PLEASE try el rincón before you dismiss! The birria tacos were delicious, everything is very authentic. Def a new regular spot for us! ??????

It's a cozy mom and pop mexican restaurant. Super sweet and helpful staff. The food was great. Got the steak tacos and birria tacos. Both were excellent. The best tacos we have had in new orleans. The only issue is parking. But we found some easy enough on Homestead. Highly recommend.Parking: If parking is not available on Vets. Go park on Homestead.

The food was great! My husband had gorditas the meat was good and the tortillas just like how he like them which is hard to find! I had the mix fajitas which came with a lot a shrimp as well usually other places don’t give you much and the salsa was so bomb!

My son had the steak burrito and I had the chimichanga, both were cooked to perfection. Server was friendly and helpful. Portions were very generous. We will definitely be coming back.

It doesn’t get anymore authentic than El Rincon Mexicano. The menu is pretty simple and easy to read. So far I’ve tried a few items and nothing has disappointed me. The Birria Tacos are amazing and they show love on the portions. lol 10/10 recommend to anyone. Oh, and their green salsa is the cherry on top. ??
