We ordered from what was advertised as Semolina in Baton Rouge. It was delivered and it was awful. We ordered shrimp roban and there were 3-4 tiny canned shrimp. Pasta was flavorful but was very disappointed in the dish. Won't be ordering there again. This was the BR location.

Requiescat in pace, Semolina, an old and dear friend gone. Their Double Cheeseburger Pasta and Jambalaya Pasta were staples on our list for many years. We were eating there since day one and their closure is a blow, we've lost too many Old Guard restaurants over the years as it is. They're promising a comeback and we're praying and eagerly awaiting news it's happening. The newer restaurants are nice but there are times in New Orleans when you need NEW ORLEANS food and Semolina was a great and fun go-to. Looking forward to its rebirth.

i have been to Semolina many times but this was my first time sitting down inside after the restaurant reopened after the pandemic. the tables had been spaced out and only two out of the 4 booths on one side could be occupied. but i'm writing because the service was excellent - there was only one waiter but he was efficient and service- oriented. i've been to a lot of places where they are using Covid as an excuse to provide poor service but here that wasn't the case! so shoutout to that server the menu has been reduced but the lunch specials and main staples are still there and still very good. the chicken enchilada is our favorite

I love Semolina! I'm beyond happy that Semolina has been able to stay open during Covid to provide takeout orders. They have a pretty good system. Curbside. They have created a lane to drive up and let the attendant know your name and bring out your order pretty quickly. It's truly a breeze. Ordering/Payment. You can order and pay online. You can also call in to order and pay when you get there without getting out of your car. The payment system is also pretty much a breeze. Food. The full menu is not available, so take a look at the updated menus online, however, your favorites are still available. Specifically my favorite, Chicken Parmesan; their chicken Parmesan is my comfort food and it consistently is always the same. A great portion with the small size of delicious chicken and pasta. just the right amount of sauce and cheese and more than enough chicken. They never fail me!

One of our go to place for Italian food. The restaurant is always clean and employees are very friendly and helpful. Lot of different choices on the menu, from Chicago pasta, jambalaya pasta, muffalettta pasta to traditional meatballs and spaghetti. Food is always hot and fresh. Hot bread is always served with your meal. Nice selection of drinks and they do have a drink of the day. Never have been disappointed.

My expectations were pretty low. If it was that good I would have dined here before, right? Semolina both met and exceeded my expectations. The service was average, beer selection mundane, ambiance was generic, playing Hip to be Square doesn't transport me to a little Italian village.

Excellent service and exceptional food! HOWEVER, I find it a shame that there was ZERO parking for actual customers due to the brilliant MOT planning committee cluster......the parade events. The Mall needs to provide ample parking for patrons and handicaps during high volume events....especially when it's obvious that the only reason this mall is still operational, stems from the quality dining and service from Semolina and Walk Ons! Get it together, folks...your employees and patrons deserve THAT much!

It was a wonderful experience. A birthday supper for a family member, the food was delicious, the service both timely and considerate. It was an idealized experience.
Decent service. Lighting is dim, so I am unsure how clean or dirty the place is. Food is decent, prices are reasonable.

At the Clearview mall, and feel like spoiling yourself with a large portion of food. Get yourself a Mac and Cheese pie! It was delightful carb explosion of cheese. Went with a group of girl friends, and got some stormy martinis. Which were perfect and fruity. Then we split two appetizers which was way more then enough. The restaurant is very nice looking. wasn't expecting that for the mall. The service good and the staff was very friendly.

Semolina used to be my go to restaurant for pasta. However, after my visit on 1/2/2020, I won't be returning. I took my mother and daughter there for what I expected to be a quick, delicious dinner. Upon arrival, there was no hostess at the counter. When she did arrive (she was "bussing tables"), she informed us that it would be a 15-20 minute wait, even though the restaurant was practically empty. Still, we waited patiently. When she finally took us to be seated, we noticed several dirty tables. I just chalked that up to them running a little behind. When our waiter came, we ordered drinks and food at the same time. The food came out relatively quickly, but was lukewarm at best. Still, very hungry, we ate it just like that. As we were eating, we noticed that nearly every table around the restaurant was filled with dirty dishes! The young lady who was supposed to be hosting was clearing plates from occupied tables and moving them to clean tables! No wonder they had nowhere to seat the customers who were continuing to enter the restaurant! Walking out, my mom and I were trying to guess why the restaurant was such a dirty wreck. We settled on "no running water". I couldn't help but think that I ate my food on dirty dishes . NEVER AGAIN. I'm only giving two stars instead of one, because despite the utter chaos, the staff was shockingly calm and kind.
