We get there, no one to seat us nor anyone else. we seat ourselves and get a server, the salsa was one of the worst salsas I have had at a restaurant. The chips were good but typical. The area was loud and looked a little tacky. The prices were definitely over priced for such overrated food. I got the fajita for 19 dollers almost, too little toppings provided for them, very little meat to, wasn't worth it.Kid-friendliness: The area is good. it's good for kids and high chairs provided.

Chili’s who? This is the best American Bar & Grill I’ve been to in Monroe. It’s a great casual place to grab drinks with friends or for an affordable date with your boo. The service was nice considering they were understaffed the night I went. They seemed very busy for a Tuesday night which was great! Now for the drinks reviews! My boyfriend ordered the margarita flight ($10) which came with four different flavors: lemonade, strawberry, blackberry and mango. I ordered the spicy paloma ($12). Both drinks were great and kind of strong. The food was VERY good, seasoned and fresh! I was very impressed with the variety of the menu and the quality of each item ordered. I ordered the elote, camarones tacos and side salad. The elote was near authentic as well as the tacos. My boyfriend ordered the Alamo burger with fries. He devoured the burger (he’s not a burger guy) and the fries were a hit!I will definitely be going back! For all of that, we spent just $53. Great price for a date night. If you haven’t tried yet, definitely don’t miss out!Vegetarian options: They have some great salad options. More than the basic Caesar and house salad. Their salad ingredients are very fresh and they have a variety of quesadilla options.

This was one of my favorite restaurants in Monroe, but we went today, & the food has changed. The queso tasted like it had a flour base, the burger was not seasoned as it used to be, & the chicken tinga was dry like canned tuna rather than having the usual flavorful & juicy tomato sauce base it used to have—just disappointing. ?

Love this place. I’ve only been once but it took me back to the cool ice houses and Tex-Mex places we frequented while living in Texas. Great food. Friendly staff.

Was told by a friend that they had one of the best burgers in town, he wasn't lying. Friendly staff and good prices for the food.

I was hesitant because of some reviews but we really enjoyed everything. Our waitress was friendly, the food was hot and well seasoned. My burger was the best I've had in a while! It was a huge burger. I only wish it had a little more bbq sauce, I think they made it themselves. My husband got three different tacos and his favorite was carne asada. Our drinks lasted a while and weren't flat which lately has been hard to find weirdly. We both gave our meals an 8/10. He preferred some tacos over others but otherwise loved them all, and for me I didn't like the fries with my burger. His tacos came with beans that were SO good we had to mention them. The margarita was delicious and he isn't a sour person, so I was surprised he liked it so much. Give this place a try!

Taco review only. Mediocre tacos at best. Steak was cold but it may have been due to the salsa they put on it. On a good note the rice was tasty. There must be better tacos in Monroe.

Food was disgusting, waitress was chewing on a straw while taking our order. Orders tacos and got salsa for my tacos yes the regular dip you buy in can for chips to go with my tacos asked for alternative sauce came out with ranch. Food overly priced for what they serve totally not worth it definitely would not recommend.

If I could give this place zero stars I would, waited forever for the food when the owner was waslking out the back taking food to a table he was sitting at having a fun conversation with a couple people, when the waitress was asked about the issue she explained there was only one cook an he was working on everyone’s orders , excuse me ma’am everyone in here has already gotten there order an eaten how long an how hard is it for the cook to fix a salad an chips an dip. My husband ordered a Philly an received something completely different, my parents had bake potatoes that weren’t even done. Everytime the waitress came around she looked like she was scared to death or wanted to cry never asked if we wanted refills etc didn’t offer to take anything off our bill seeing how we had to wait 45 minutes on our chips an cheese dip
