Alex was a wonderful server and really took care of us. Food was hot and what was expected. Interior needs updating and a good cleaning. Menus were sticky, peeling, and faded/smeared on one side so we couldn't make out the items. Loved the 70s music and the staff were great!Vegetarian options: Very little selection for vegetarians.Dietary restrictions: Slim selections for vegan, GF, etc.Wheelchair accessibility: No automated doors and aisles.narrow inside.

I grew up going to Shoney's and still absolutely love it to this day! It's a shame they've closed most of them down. We have to drive 30 mins to the nearest one now. But this one in Morgan City is totally awesome!!! Staff is always Awesome!!! To this day, they still capture the All-American Classic Shoney's atmosphere and Amazing food! Love it!!!!???? Breakfast Bar is Always and will Always be the BEST EVER!!! Y'all deserve 5++++++ Stars! Love y'all!!!Kid-friendliness: VERY kids friendly. Today, 11/17/23, was a 4yr old's birthday and the whole staff came out to wish him a good Ol' Shoney's Happy Birthday! Awesomeness!!!Wheelchair accessibility: The local public are very rude and inconsiderate and either take up the disabled parking spots and/or block the ramps constantly. Twice I brought my grandmother and both times we struggled getting her in the restaurant. Even the times I didn't bring her, majority of the times the parking spots were occupied by perfectly healthy people with no disabled tags and/or the ramps were blocked by people picking up their orders. Only complaint I have about this place but it's not really their fault. ?♂️

I ordered a slice of strawberry pie to go.It’s clear they didn’t have a pie ready so they pulled out a frozen pie shell and opened a can of strawberry preserves. Poured the strawberries on the shell and put whip cream on it. I’m on the road so I can’t go back. But damn. Come back at me while I’m waiting and tell me they 86’d strawberry pie and give me my money back or offer another desert. I paid $7 for this
