My son and I were visiting Austin and had just flown in from California. We were hungry and a bit tired. This place was EXACTLY what we needed. Slightly warm outside we both had beers to drink. They had a wide variety and I chose the Hefeweizen. Our server was very good, we forgot her name but she was originally from Montenegro. We split the burger and some tacos. Very tasty indeed. we stopped here after a long day of walking and really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. Had a couple of wonderful cocktails and fabulous zucchini cornbread, and enjoyed it greatly!

This restaurant is located in the JW Marriott hotel and it was a great experience. I took a stroll down Congress Ave from the Capitol building and ended my walk here starving for dinner. I ended up only getting a salad, but there were a lot of good southern options on the menu. There’s a great ambience to the place as well.
