I find a lot of restaurants cook with too much salt. My soup was very salty but for others it may be just right and our server had offered to take it off our bill. I did not take her up on that offer as the soup was tasty n apart from too salty it was a good gumbo. My husband's steak was fine to perfection so we were all happy.
The food, staff, & atmosphere was very good. We had an ice tea, coke, ear of corn, & a large chocolate chip cookie with a scoop of ice cream for twenty dollars... Twenty dollars! These people are crazy.

Please get some waitress who want to wait on customers and Won't Keep Forgetting customers orders also putting the wrong food on customers plates. Some Workers these days jave become PATHETIC!!!
When we arrived to this establishment some of the tables were not cleaned and we assumed maybe they were very busy and unable to get to them. After we were seated we ordered our drinks and appetizers and realized the tables were still not cleaned. On the bright side our waitress was very sweet and took very good care of us. As we were eating my husband brought it to my attention that there was wax paper left on his burger. When I brought it to the waitresses attention she apologized and took the paper and half the burger to show her manager. She came back and explained that they would be making him a new burger. The manager whoever he/she is never came to our table to offer any words of apology or any type of customer service. The waitress brought the new burger which should have been brought by management and apologized again. She also informed us when she brought the ticket that the burger had been removed which also should have been told to us by management. The food was absolutely amazing and we weren’t even that upset the wax paper was forgotten. We were most disturbed that management has no idea what actual customer service entails or how to manage a food establishment. If it hadn’t been for management this establishment would be incredible! Also, when we were leaving the tables were still not cleaned.
I was served cold potato soup. It was so cold that the cheese never melted in the bowl. I asked to talk with the manager and she was very cocky. Her mind was already set on not offering a solution. I asked that in place of the soup, I be given a dessert as my 3 item menu special. She basically said it couldn't be done and we all know Mangers can do whatever they choose to make a customer satisfied. The point was not about the price but just the courtesy of an item being ill prepared I was disappointed because I eat there a lot but today is my last day. And to add insult to the injury they added a table entertainment charge of $2.99 on to my bill which the waiter had removed. The manger has poor people skills. I oberserved her deal with another party at a different table and she was very open to their complaints, I heard her say that she assured the other guest that the situation would be ok and resolved. I guess me being black and a male she has run out of courtesy when she was called for my situation. She offered me more soup but by that time her attitude killed my appetite
