Im originally from New Roads La but been living in the New Orleans area for last 17 years and we just moved to Jeanerette La , we went to the Seafood Connection restaurant for our anniversary and i most say the Seafood Connection has definitely got what the so called cajun and seafood restaurants in the New Orleans area forgot ,, really good cajun and seafood at very reasonable prices with friendly atmosphere and very friendly staff , we cant wait to go back again

Love the place first night I had deep fried soft shell blue crab, stuffed shrimp, fish and shrimp balls then the second night I went in I had the seafood platter I recommend the seafood platter it's a great
The order was 30 min late. I watched a server stuff her face w food while standing behind the counter all the while clients were needing her help. Poorly run kitchen and why they stay open is a mystery!
Food was great except for the stuff crab tasted too fishy,prices and service were great, will go back.

Awesome little place. Happened to be working there and found this place. The people were very friendly, welcoming environment and the food hands down amazing!!!!
This is my wife and I go to place. Food is delicious. Our usual is the catfish dinner and the shrimp dinner with salad for under 25 bucks and we always take leftovers home. The boiled shrimp are always perfect, there are a lot of fancier restaurants that should come in and take notes on how to do it right!
