The atmosphere and service at this restaurant were great, but I ordered gumbo and it was definitely burnt. It was dark brown and tasted strongly bitter. I ended up picking out the meat because the broth was unpalatable. Pretty disappointing with a Cajun staple! I also ordered brussels sprouts and those were pretty good

Beautiful bar in the French quarter. Loved the decor and the atmosphere. Cocktails were craft and some of the best in the city.

Nice atmosphere and close to the central tourist location. We had the gumbo, scallops and brussel sprouts. The gumbo was a bit oily for our tastes. Overall not the best price/value combination vs other places we tried.

Had a large party and found this gem to eat at. Food was extraordinary and very unique. I had the scallions, fries, and crab cakes. The sauces were delicious on everything. The atmosphere was beautiful. The door were open and a nice breeze ran through the restaurant. There were glass bottles in the background. The staff was great and very attentive. I was very impressed he asked for allergies without prompting and was very understanding and careful about allergies. Would highly recommend.

Host was super wonderful and we were seated quickly, but server was inattentive and bar service was very slow despite not many patrons. Food was warm and tasty but slow to order and come to the table. Maybe just a bad day for the restaurant, but will find somewhere better for next time.

Attractive environs to enjoy classic New Orleans cuisine with a unique twist. Loved the gumbo and savory beignets. And BONUS is live entertainment by Shawan Rice (outstanding vocalist).

Best gumbo of the trip. German potato salad instead of rice was unique and flavorful.

The decor was the major component that caught my attention. It wasn't busy at the time I arrived; however, it seemed to be a popular place since some clients who didn't make reservations ended up leaving the restaurant. Then later on a group of 20+ came to have a good time. There is quite a selection of food on the menu, I had several dishes, they were all quite strongly seasoned. The servers are very attentive to ensure I'm satisfied with my needs and very friendly. Even introduced me to the parade app and recommended areas of interest after knowing how long I'll be in town for.

Outstanding dinner! We highly recommend the excellent Kale Salad w/all the accoutrements + fresh fish or shrimp. The pumpkin gnocchi was terrific, as well. Terrific server; really unique and intriguing restaurant decor, and a wonderful evening!

We came downstairs from the hotel for brunch with our 3 year old. The hostess said are you sure you want to have brunch here it’s a burlesque brunch (Sunday). Since I feel burlesque is an art I said sure. The dancer could not have been kinder to our little none and she absolutely loved ‘the beautiful princess’ who she asked for every Sunday for a month.

We were there for the burlesque brunch and had a great time! The food was delicious and the hooch was surprisingly good. All in all, can’t wait to do it again!

First impressions matter. Had a reservation for brunch. Upon arrival told to come back in 5 min as they were transitioning from breakfast to brunch. Came back in 10 min. Same hostess ignored us and refused to speak to us. Place was nearly empty. Decided service was indicative of food and there was probably reason it was only place on the block without a line on the sidewalk. Never had a chance to try the food. Spent our $200 down the street where we were welcomed even though it was busy and were able to have great food and live music without inconveniencing what's-her-name-hostess at 3rd Block.
