The chicken for my salad was blacked, I believe. Tasted good, and I like the Caesar salad dress. More on the vinegar side the way I like it. Drinks were good and strong. My cousin said the burgers were pretty average. But that they had really good buns. Also, the bisque didn't have much of a seafood flavor. It was more just a corn flavor. Great service.

I got a glass a wine. Was given a menu and told to let them know if I wanted to order anything but no one came back. It wasn't busy but perhaps they need to work on their customer service. Update: I had breakfast here the next day. It definitely seems like their forte. For the buffet there are custom omelette sand a great selection of hot and cold items, juices, coffee, and pastries. I really like it. Service was fast and attentive. The opposite of last night.

Our room was very clean and nice. We had a premiere king. Spacious. The front desk was helpful. The Concierge very nice and helpful. Bar and food very good. We were there for the Sugar Bowl and we could walk to the Cesar dome from the hotel. Which is good if you are able to walk. We were also there for New Years Eve. So it was a busy busy time. The hotel handled all this well except………. Our major problem is the parking and valet service. I rate that a zero. We waiting 39-40 minutes to get into the hotel area. That is sitting in your car in the middle of the busy street !!! Not enough help. This happened both nights.

I stayed here for one night while on a business thrip 12/16. Room was fine but the bathroom was terrible. Mold and a broken shower that sprayed over the curtain. Looks like they hired the first person they found on Bourbon street to renovate the bathroom. And he was hungover.

I don't mind less than perfect hotels if the prices are fair. But I paid ~$310 total per night with no breakfast included. A very small breakfast buffet is ~$30. The luxury price is not matched by the quality of the hotel. The shower was leaking, in the morning the water did not get hot, and the room was noisy. The whole place could use a makeover. The "gym" is a small stuffy room with a low ceiling that houses two treadmills, a more or less broken spin bike, an elliptical and some free weights. In this hotel category, this really does not qualify as a gym. On the plus side, the front desk staff was friendly, but the people at the breakfast service were not and clearly did not seem to like their jobs. Friends that stayed in other hotels nearby were better of.

Convenient to stay at because of how close it was to the convention center for my conference. Staff friendly. A minor issue in room was promptly resolved. Casey was awesome getting us scheduled for a taxi to the airport and helping with our bags to make it in time for our flight. The shopping at the mall across the street was nice and there is a mini Cafe du Monde there and a cool River cruise (Creole Queen) from what I saw.

This hotel has a good location (adjacent to the convention center and shopping). The property itself appears to have been renovated at some point but with poor craftmanship. There were gaps in the tile and all of the plumbing fixtures were loose. I thought the tub faucet was going to come all the way off and it leaked. The bolt lock on my door also didn't work. We asked for adjoining rooms weeks in advance but were not accommodated and on top of that, were put on the 2nd floor so a lot of street noise and no view. There are no included amenities. Wifi is only free if you sign up for some program. The staff seemed friendly enough. Overall, I was not extremely disappointed but I would probably select a different property in the future.

I stayed at this Omni property while in town for a very large convention, whose attendees were spread out over the many hotels in the area. I travel often for business so wind up staying at all the hotel chains at one time or another and initially chose this property for price and distance to the convention center. Now that I’ve been here for two days, I can declare the Omni as the winner. The staff are wonderful. The most notable happening took place after my colleague, a single young woman needed a ride back to her hotel, the Marriott on Canal, about .5 miles away. It was ~10pm and a parade had taken place in the area earlier. Lots of roads were blocked. The manager of the valet service, Mr. Randall, called a cab for her. When the cab arrived, they said they couldn’t take her back because the route was blocked and that she would have to walk. This was completely unacceptable at that time of night and I couldn’t walk her because then I (also female) would be in the same position. We were debating what to do when Mr. Guethens, the bellman, offered to WALK HER BACK HIMSELF, with Mr. Randall’s permission. I’ll never forget Mr. Randall looking so troubled with our dilemma and agreeing that my colleague probably shouln’t walk by herself, saying “if it were my wife or daughter, I wouldn’t want them walking alone at this time of night.” Well, their team treated my colleague like their own wife or daughter. I can’t think of service getting any better than that. Getting back to why one should stay here if attending a convention, here’s why: -The location is excellent; it’s caddy-corner from the side entrance of the center so it’s a very easy walk. -It’s directly across the street from the entrance to the mall -It’s a smaller hotel and not worn out so it’s an upscale little oasis from the hub-bub. -There was always room at the nice little bar and the restaurant was good. (Nice bartenders, Steph and Grace) -Front desk staff very friendly (Amber) -Last, I forgot how nice the Omni beds, linens and feather pillows are. They are extremely comfortable. Stay here, you’ll be patting yourself on the back for making an excellent decision! Lisa R, Tallahassee, FL

Stopped by there Saturday morning (10/8/22) with the family for breakfast. Turns out it was the worst mistake of my life. First the waiter spills a glass filled of ice water on my lap (mind you our day is just beginning). He takes our drink orders and forgets my wife's drink. We don't get it till halfway through our meal after asking for it twice more. We ordered the All American breakfast. I asked for two poached eggs but ended up with two hard boiled eggs. Half of the potatoes were cooked the other half was raw. What made it even sadder, there were only three other tables and the place was mostly empty and it took 25 minutes to get half cooked food . The only decent thing about the meal was they were very generous with applewood smoked bacon. I mean it was like they were trying to get rid of the bacon the servings were so much. Which really made me think. That drink my wife ordered that came late in the game (Aperol Spritz) was mostly bitter and it was supposed to be fruity. I wish I could have found a justification for the inconsistencies and poor quality but the place was almost empty, it was very well staffed, so there's no real excuse for the pitiful service and a very sorry meal. No I don't ever plan to go back and I sure as hell do not recommend this location.

We were visiting for our 20th anniversary and were recognized with sparking wine and desserts. The woman in charge of food and beverage (Sorry for not getting a name) was fabulous. Kept track of our satisfaction the entire stay. Room was clean and well appointed. One professional opinion is that the hot water was way too hot, asking for issues with toddlers. One night when we returned to the hotel we stopped by the bar for a drink. I was craving a real New Orleans Bloody Mary but instead got mix with a couple olives. I’d expect more from Omni. The bartender also said I had to pay cash because the computers weren’t working. I reported this to the front desk. Overall a wonderful stay at a really unique hotel. Kudos to the engineer and his staff to keep it up through all the challenges.

The first room they gave us had not been cleaned. There was trash in the cans and it was obvious the carpet had not been vacuumed. Gross. No laundry room was disappointing, but my fault for not checking ahead of time. The terrible review is due to the basic lack of doing the right things for their guests. We were there for a basketball tournament and needed to leave a day early. With 48 hours notice the hotel manager refused to allow us to cancel the night we didn’t need. She blamed it on direction from the sales team, but couldn’t contact them to escalate the issue since it was and issue. Other families who stayed in the Hilton and Sonesta had no issues cancelling the last night. This isn’t a hard thing to do. The manager could have done the right thing, but chose not to. This is our first time at an Omni hotel. And we will never stay at another Omni hotel again.

We booked the Omni as it is the closest hotel to the convention center. The toilet tank water ran every 3 minutes for about a minute. All. Night. Long. Loudly. We reported it twice over two days without it being fixed or being offered another room. I guess they were tired of us complaining because when we asked a third time to get it fixed (they’re losing a lot of water with this) THEY JUST DISCONNECTED THE TOILET. In the room we’re paying $170 a night for. WE HAD TO FILL A WASTE PAPER BASKET WITH WATER FROM THE TUB TO FLUSH. No note was left by maintenance about this, no offer to change our room and seriously, no functioning toilet. WTF? I’m just waiting for business hours to call the board of health.

Super nice, upscale bar & grill. Atmosphere very great and the host was top tier and helpful. Food was incredible. One of the best part of my family's Memorial Day vacation!

First let me start with Precious in convention services who I dealt with throughout my group booking and planning for my Entrepreneur womens retreat held during memorial weekend. She was pleasant and helpful even in areas beyond her job. When we arrived it was even better each and every Valet & Bell person was pleasant and welcoming and then you get to the front desk and the ladies there “Each and every one of them” was nice, helpful and welcoming to me and the 20 women I brought with me. The bartender “the older guy” was soooo helpful and nice, the wait staff during our meals and the supervisors were so pleasant and kind. I already love New Orleans but the experience that my group had with the stay at Omni Riverfront made them all say that they will be back and be choosing Omni as their hotel of choice. I thanked everyone a million times “literally” but I had to go on and thank them just one more time in hopes that I help someone else when they read this review to choose the Omni Riverfront and don’t get it twisted I’ve stayed at over 6 other hotels in this area Over the years and HANDS DOWN no hotel, staff or treatment beats my experience with them. If they have rooms available that fit in your budget you should definitely book a room and stay with them. Much love Monique Je’ CEO, host of the Release Refuel Revive Retreat!

We made a reservation that same day, but there was no host/ess, no wait staff, and the dining room wasn't open! Only option was to sit at the bar/bar area, and we had only a few minutes to get an order in before the kitchen closed! It turns out there is only one person in the kitchen and most weekdays, they close early! We honestly weren't sure why they allow reservations at the hour we went! The food was absolutely fantastic and salvaged our dinner! The wine list was not, but the bartender recommended one that sufficed. I won't go out of my way to eat at this place.
