Amazing food next to none! I was a walk-in and got a table by the bar and ordered two cold and two hot appetizers. All four were amazing and I’ve been to several Michelin star restaurants! The tuna crudo was light and refreshing. The venison tartare was interesting although slightly chewy. The escargot was prepared differently than in the shell and seemed sautéed. The gnocchi was the star of the show and was amazing! Even the amus-bouche was decadent.If you have a chance to visit - please do - you will not be disappointed

From start to end was a phenomenal experience. Service was wonderful and the restaurant beautiful. We started with the Iberico pork which was tasty but for the price probably wouldn't get again as was very small. We shared several of the entrees - the duck, the red snapper, gnocci, and the wagu beef - every one of them was really delicious. You can't go wrong with any of these choices! The restaurant was expensive, but the quality was superb, so definitely would be back for a special occasion!

A fabulous experience during our latest trip. It's located right outside the French quarter. A very nice restaurant and great service. I had the duck and my wife had the snapper. The duck was excellent with the addition of the foie grais, it was perfect

The tuna was unbelievable, the duck was inspired and the service was top notch. August has done something special and they should be extremely proud. Would absolutely come back and bring a friend.

What a wonderful experience. We enjoyed the tasting menu with wine pairings and loved the entire experience. The staff was lovely, attentive, and warm. The food was exquisite - with many new mouth-watering experiences. We will be back!

Photos didn’t happen due to the exquisite experience of dining at Restaurant August. Pulling out a phone seemed crass. Each of us enjoyed two appetizers, getting to taste the other’s choices. We delighted in the bluefin tuna with passion fruit granita, venison tartare, black & blue gnocchi, and pecan smoked Iberian pork. Wine selections were spectacular. The hummingbird cake rounded out the meal splendidly. Thanks to our server, Felicia and eight-hand man, Gabriel, we were well cared for.

The dining experience at August was one to remember. The food was incredible, the staff were friendly and very attentive, and the ambience was superb. We ordered the chef tasting menu and every course was planned and executed perfectly. The lamb was cooked perfectly, the scallops were buttery, and the dessert was to die for! So many wonderful courses which were beautifully presented and accompanied by a brief explanation by the staff. I can't give enough praise to the wait staff who helped us through our meal. They were on top of everything. My water glass was never empty, my plate was cleared whenever I was done, my silverware replaced after every course, and they even offered me a jacket when I off handedly mentioned I was a little chilly to my partner. If NOLA was included in the michelin guide, this place would surely have a star. Cannot recommend this place enough!
