i forgot to take photos of all my food cause it was THAT GOOD! my favorite of what we tried was the fries catfish. i also got the spinach and cheese dip with crawfish and it made my mouth water. we got the strawberry cheesecake as well that was delicious. we decided to stop by after seeing keith lee recommend them in a tiktok video. if you’re ever in nola, this is honestly one of the first food places you visit!

That was, without a doubt, the best gumbo I've ever had. Doesn't matter that I've never had gumbo before, anywhere, ever. The best soup I've ever had, though? Probably.I was a little worried about arriving so late, less than an hour to close, but they were still accommodating for a late lunch/early dinner. I had the gumbo along with the red beans and rice with fish, and the flavours of everything were just outstanding. Took some strawberry cake and peach cobbler away for later - very much looking forward to those when I'm not so stuffed full of gumbo.As much as I want to try different restaurants in New Orleans, you wouldn't have to twist my arm to go back to B Sweet. Seconds? Yes, please.

This spot was recommended by a bartender at one of the hotels I stayed at. We wanted authentic NO cuisine so it fit the bill to try. Me and my boy checked it out and were pleasantly surprised. The food was on point (had fried catfish, seafood gumbo and Bourdain egg rolls). Also got a delicious looking brownie and cookie. Definitely will return when in the Big Easy!????Even better than the food is Ms. Brittany. Total package. Thanks for the hospitality, the personal bio and general good vibe. Went here for an early lunch at the suggestion of hotel bartender who said they had the best gumbo in the city for authentic food. Decided to try a few things. Gumbo was delicious and filling by itself - though it looks small, i should have done the sample size to try more things. Boudin eggrolls were on point and well seasoned. Fried redfish and catfish both amazing, fried crispy but still tender inside. Cobbler and cookies sealed the deal. Only thing better than the food was the service, and the owner Brittany stopped and talked with us for a good length of time. She's just amazing - keep doing your thing!This place is definitely on my regular list any time I'm back in the big easy.

I’ve eaten here 3 out of the 4 times I’ve been to NOLA. The only reason I missed out that once was because she wasn’t open. Don’t sleep on the “small spots” because the food here is sooooo good EVERY TIME! I definitely make it my business to get to the bistro any time I’m in town!

B Sweet is a sweet spot for the creamiest grits I've tasted in years! Melt in your mouth ( great catfish, too - flaky not greasy) and a mood that's chill and relaxing. Don't forget desert - bread, banana puddings...her specialty ?
For real the best cakes you can get in this area. She also offers food other than sweets, which is also very good. I got my boss' birthday cake here! You know it's good.

Visited from Washington State and B Sweet Bistro was on our list. The 704 sweet & spicy wings were amazing. Makes you want to come back for more. We also had the Gumbo, Catfish Mardi Gras, and fried basket. Everything was delicious. Of course we had to sample the desserts and they were delicious: extra crusted peach cobbler, floating turtle brownie and the strawberry stuffed cheese cake (my favorite). Thank you Brittney for your service and hospitality!!!
