waited food for 20 minutes, the cook is making sandwich while chatting with other people, and they don’t wear gloves

such a cute lil spot. only got one dish and it was very good (crudités) and wish i could go regularly to try more stuff because what i had was so promising! but the star of what i tried was the soft serve (chocolate with chili crisp), it was smooth and creamy and a nice level of chocolate. good vibes and folks. if i lived in new orleans would hit this spot up often!

72 degrees, sunny, special day to enjoy what I would call an unexpected meal that completely exceeded my expectations. The ladies running things were precision personified. Knowledgeable, accommodating, delightful. I ordered an unsweet, iced tea. The tea is superb. Not your general brand. House brewed from exceptional tea leaves. That was just the beginning. The Deluxe Niçoise was mind blowing. Fresh. Balanced. Sublime. Crisp green beans, perfectly blanched. Potatoes perfectly cooked, tuna that must have been caught this morning. That meal was absolute bliss to enjoy. The biscuits and house made jams, so satisfying. The venue, reminiscent of a French cafè with all the little touches. Vibrant. What joy this experience brought to a perfect day in New Orleans.Make reservations. They fill up quickly. One of the very best experiences we have encountered in this foodie city.

I went in not knowing what to expect. I was greeted so kindly and genuinely with care and humor as I saw the delectable food being crafted so delicately and with love right before my eyes. The blends of flavors were incredible and only could be put together by the finest of food engineers. I took myself out on a date and it was the most romantic date I've ever been on. Upon looking at the menu I assumed the portions would be for birds because the delicious ingredients were so classy. That was not the case at all. One portion filled me up perfectly.Never thought I could fall IN LOVE with a restaurant!!!!! Wow!!!!!My ONLY complaint is that I didn't try it sooner!!!!

Bottle prices are insane value. Mortadella plate is decadent and not to be missed. Friendly staff and chill vibes. They ran out of braised white beans and gave us the dregs for free hell

It looked too good, forgot to snap a pic first. The cutest place, wonderful staff, amazing food & drinks. Great little gifts available too with tons of jams for sale. One of the best biscuits I've ever had.

This place is amazing! It has a great and affordable wine list and the food was great. Such a cute atmosphere and good service too.Overall a great value and would be a great date spot. It's on the smaller side and was mostly full when we went on a Monday so just be aware.

Did you visit Europe recently? Are you like “oh I just wish Americans could understand Aperitivo culture?” Look no further, honey. Bar Pomona offers exceptional cocktails, a great wine list with abundant options for glass pours, and a menu that screams “order the whole menu”… just go!

This was my first time visiting Bar Pomona. Upon entering, the staff greeted us warmly and told us to sit wherever we chose at the bar or a table. We chose to sit at a table at the front window to get natural light. For breakfast l, I chose the biscuit with cheese and sausage. At the outset, let me tell you the tomato jam was THE BOMB!!!! I loved the texture of the biscuit....flaky, buttery but not oily and soft. The sausage had a nice flavor that complimented the cheese and biscuit perfectly. We also ordered the French toast. I'll let you judge from the pictures, but the French toast was nothing like your typical slices of bread. This was a WEDGE cut that had toasted almonds all over and toasted to a nice exterior crispy (not hard) and soft interior. While I didn't order it for my meal, I went in for the first bite and OMG!!!! I don't know if I can go back to standard slices after THIS WEDGE of Wonderfulness! The venue is small, but cozy. I can imagine sitting at our table for long moments with a pastry, coffee and likely a mimosa. The staff was attentive to our needs without being intrusive. We will certainly return to Bar Pomona.

Newly discovered spot in the Marigny (even though they’ve been around for a bit!) and I cant wait to go back. Brunch and hh + dinner offerings all look incredible. They’ve also got a wide selection of jams and canned accoutrements for sale, as well as other goodies.Came here for brunch and had an egg+cheese biscuit with tomato jam…yum. Also couldn’t resist their chocolate and strawberry soft serve with chocolate tahini on top. Will definitely be back for hh + dinner!
