Take out- friendly, prompt service Creole wings- plump, juicy, flavorful, not usually a wing eater but loved these Jerk chicken on bun- spicy, peppery, soft bun, loved it, i added habanero bbq sauce i had at home- it needed sauce. We found this place the last night of our trip just looking for somewhere that was open and found the best spot for the entire trip. The food was absolutely delicious we got the jerk chicken on a bun and the redux. The jerk chicken was just to die for. We ordered some more sandwiches to go for our lunch the next day since we left before they opened again. Hands down the best food for the trip we hit some main tourist attractions, so probably for a specific reason. But glad we found this delightful spot. The aesthetic was right up our alley and perfect for a late night snack.
We stayed in the neighborhood and after a long day of flights we decided this was the best bet in walking distance. I loved the vibe of this quaint bar with live music. The courtyard has a lot of character, the food is all made fresh there and the staff is friendly.

If you are looking for a dive bar with good food and cheap drinks come here! We decided to try the gumbo before seeing music down the street at Bacchanal. The gumbo was great, the prices were great and the service was friendly. They have a nice back patio and use it for public events. This place certainly felt local and is far away from the chaos of the french quarter.

This is the best neighborhood bar in the whole city. The family who runs it are so genuine and caring. The staff, from the bar to kitchen, are top tier people & they actually care about you and your time spent there. The food is DELICIOUS! I love this bar.

After hearing great things about this tiny bar, we popped in late night for a quick drink and a burger. From the outside, it doesn't look like much but once you enter the bar is quirky and opens up to the outside patio area. The bartenders were super friendly and greeted up right away. I'm told the owner is always around and she delivered our burgers. Overall fun spot and great burger if you're hungry after 10pm.

I mean how do you rate a dive bar? This place was a little rundown, with a courtyard and back that matched.That said they had good drinks a good prices! The bartenders were friendly and attentive. I didn't end up trying the food because we were there for an art show where several different artists brought their work. There happened to be a free buffet so I skipped the paid food.Definitely a local type place. We went with one of our friends who is local and saw a few more while we were there.
