Love everything I’ve ever tasted from here. We did the cooking class this past week and had so much fun. Beth is amazing!!

My god their double chocolate malt cookie is the stuff of dreams.Their chocolate chip cookie is worthy of a runner up mention. Each cookie was priced at $2. What a phenomenal price! Customer service was nice and the space was spacious and bright. I didn’t try their tarts or their individual pound cakes but they looked really tasty as well. This is a great little spot to indulge with a cookie or two, or three or four or…

I owe drinks to my friends who recommended Beth as one of the best in town. I ordered cake for my daughter’s 18th birthday. Absolutely fabulous! A cake does not get any better. The esthetics of it were as amazing as the taste. And because I had to stop by the shop twice, we were treated to some king cake and other sweets. Everything is great but the customer service makes it even better. We are very grateful and highly recommend.

They did an absolutely outstanding job on my friend's 30th birthday cake!!! I ordered the succulent design, it was truly the most beautiful and delicious cake I have ever had and was such a big hit! I honestly thought the price should have been higher for the quality. When I called the employees were so kind and helpful. I have recommended this bakery several times since and will go nowhere else in the future. PHENOMENAL JOB!

So sugary my mouth burned.

The cookies are good but not worth dealing with the staff at the cash register. I just today had my second experience in there where no one said hi when I walked in despite clearly seeing me - and they buzzed around doing their own thing while I waited. I'd much rather go to Gracious Bakery, Leo's Breads, Bellegarde, Levee Bakery or Mayhew Bakery- or even frankly the Tastee Donuts out on Clearview- with my money rather than be ignored by staff as I wait.

Delicious and beautiful cakes. Cookies and ice cream too. Small business but growing by "word of mouth". Off street parking available. Order specialty cakes ahead!

Damn are Beth Biundo cakes drop dead gorgeous. I was lucky enough to pick up my birthday gift from my boss here and tbh hadn't heard about this gourmet bakery until last month. Was able to promptly park my car with free street parking (SCORE) and quietly walked in. There are a few chairs and tables to enjoy your sweets on-site if one desires. I believe they might even serve coffee but forgot to verify for y'all. What really stood out to me though was the presentation of the cake and the seamless checkout process. It's an open bakery so it was pretty neat to be seeing them in action and it is a full blown operation! I was presented with my cake and the piping was mind-damn-blowing. It was reminiscent of my childhood with a desert/palm springs vibe and it looked like a mini piece of art. Technically it's edible art so I'm not too far off. My table loved the cake and thoroughly enjoyed it!

So good! Cakes, cookies, pies you name it. Tip top quality and flavor.

We had Beth Biundo Sweets do the cake and cookies for a family event. My girlfriend took care of the ordering and pick up. She reported a few hiccups with the front staff. She won't describe them as rude, but they were not overly helpful. According to her, they kind of fell into that category of helper that treats you like you don't know what you're doing. The draw to Beth Biundo Sweets was that the cakes are beautiful and potentially delicious. I will say, that was pretty much the case with our cake. Cake was quite good looking. The sponge was dense and rich. Even without the icing, the chocolate sponge held its own. I think it had a buttercream icing. Great sponge to icing ratio. Decadent for sure, but cakes should be decadent. We bought a few dozen decorated cookies. I think they were sugar cookies. I did not expect much by way of taste. They were more for show. The decorative icing was pathetic. The font was a half-step up from sloppy kindergartener. In summary...Cake - crushed itCookies - sadService - okToo many places in town to get a good cake. We will not repeat.

She won't describe them as rude, but they were not overly helpful. According to her, they kind of fell into that category of helper that treats you like you don't know what you're doing. Do you know the type? The workers do something like take baked good orders all day, and they aren't really sure why you don't know how to order a custom cake without asking a few questions. I have been a huge Beth Biundo fan since she was the pastry chef at Lilette. Everything she makes is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Her shop is a delight, as you can also pick up fun and unique greeting cards and gifts along with the scrumptious offerings. Her cupcakes are little works of art, and there isn't a better chocolate chip cookie in the city. She also makes amazing things like Nutella ice cream and pistachio ice cream sandwiches. During Mardi Gras, I love her sugar cookies decorated like miniature king cakes. I dare you to find anything cuter! And of course, I commissioned Beth to make my wedding cake. She makes a "succulent" cake that looks so cool, and she did an amazing job with the groom's cake as well. Stop in and try all the things!!

While it is true the product is good, Beth obviously moves (slowly) to her own drummer and is not very concerned with her customer's needs. She declines prepayment for orders and instead suggests the client shows up at 10 AM to receive WHATEVER IS LEFT OVER from the previous night's baking. While she may believe she is meeting her customer's needs, she also admits to turning many away. Probably not the best way to run a business. And I, for one, won't come back.In response to Beth, I feel she should note the following...1. I did not enter her shop to jump the line, but simply to make a purchase. For whatever reason, the line is something she has created.2. I assume bakers start early. If that is a problem for her, perhaps she should look into another line of work.3. There were no even remotely strict Covid practices going on in the bakery. She is simply trying to blame the business's shortcomings on the pandemic.

I had tried Beth's lemon cake at a wedding in 2017, and I knew I wanted it for our December 2019 wedding. I contacted her a year and a half in advance (that was not totally necessary). We had a tasting just to be sure in May of 2018, and then everything else was done over email!

I had tried Beth's lemon cake at a wedding in 2017, and I knew I wanted it for our December 2019 wedding. I contacted her a year and a half in advance (that was not totally necessary). We had a tasting just to be sure in May of 2018, and then everything else was done over email! I loved working with Beth and I love that cake so, so much. What's even better is I had random wedding guests contact me days after "WHERE WAS THAT CAKE FROM"? The design was simple, and we added some flowers to make the cake look simple stunning. My belief with wedding cake is: it should be beautiful and incredibly delicious. I wanted something different, and I decided if we were going to pay for a cake at all, it was going to be the best cake ever. SO I went with Beth Biundo Sweets. Highly recommend to those planning a wedding in New Orleans!
