Nice meal with very attentive staff. Hosted a small family graduation dinner. The food, service and atmosphere was good. Relaxing to not be in the hustle & bustle of Bourbon Street area. Recommended

This is our favorite spot to get something quick and fresh to eat on the spur of the moment. However, our server Jessie was the worst experience ever. She didn't come to great us or take our order. She brought us water and said she would be back. We waited for 10 minutes or more to take our order. It was so bad that the host came and took our order. Jessie never checked if we needed anything. Our order was wrong. She brought us the check and had a 30 minute conversation with another table while we waited for her to come back. The table was literally 2 feet away from ours. She could have glanced and check if we were ready. It was late and we had an early meeting in the morning. She had no sense to communicate. I never experienced anything like this. We have had many different servers at Brown Butter and everyone was very courteous, professional, and served as they should. We don't expect to be doted on or have long winded conversations with the server. However, we do expect to be acknowledged as a customer who is paying for a service. On that night, we did not get that once our table was assigned to Jessie. Brown Butter you can do better. Jessie, if you are being paid to be a server, then serve the customers.

The service was horrible and slow, which makes no sense with a fixed menu of 3 items. I also overheard one of the waitresses complaining about my wife who asked her if she had cleaned up all of the glass from a cup that broke. On top of all of that none of the food was good. An absolute waste of money.

We went for Mother's Day and there was a prie fixe menu, so didn't get to try everything we wanted. But the menu was set up perfectly. Three items in each category so we got one of each and turned it into a "family style" deal. Crab and artichoke dip was my favorite appetizer. The Brown Butter Benny (Eggs Benedict essentially) was delicious, as well as the beef spare ribs. By that time, we were stuffed, so crushed some peach cobbler and flourless chocolate torte way later in the day at home. All so good! The $20 mix-and-match all you can drink bloody Mary and Mimosa deal is also way worth it, if you want to have a great weekend! We will be back!

Top notch as per usual. Hoping this restaurant finds a new location ASAP, and that they can create the warmth and quirkiness (along with amazing food) that make Brown Butter our go to favorite restaurant.

Had a great time here. Food was good. Grits were a bit stiff. And the food came later than I thought it should have but not too late. The service was very kind. And the restaurant was clean. Would definitely recommend it.

Overall average experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food just wasn't anything to write home about. Eggs were bland, the bacon was very greasy and clumpy, and the “fresh” fruit wasn't very fresh. The Mac and cheese was pretty good though. And the fried pickles would've been great if they were served hot.

Kat was an amazing bartender/server. The food was great. The salad was a little too sweet? The lamb was very good. I loved the peach cobbler and my husband loved the white chocolate bread pudding. This wasn't our first time and we will definitely be back.

This place was good. It was busy (we didn't expect there to be a Sunday brunch things happening) The service was good and everyone was kind even being super busy, they acted like they enjoyed being there.I got the brunch burger. The flavors were great - not the best burger burger I've ever had but it was tasty and moist. And made a great vehicle for flavor. The fries are great. We also had the brussel sprouts and added a side of hot honey to them and 10/10 RECOMMEND doing this. So crispy. So tasty. We had iced coffees with oatmilk. Fantastic. The coffee was congregation coffee which I think is local.Vegetarian options: Yes! Several vegetarian options for brunch.

Food was fantastic, good classic southern with little twists. I personally loved the bbq sauce (coming from someone who is typically not a fan) only issue was that my friends food came out by the time I was finished eating but I do think it was just a mistake because the people were nice.

Six friends gathered for a birthday celebration and the host immediately said Happy Birthday when we checked-in at the door. It was a great service night from that point forward. Our server and bar tender Cat/Kat (sp) was very attentive and also wished us happy birthday. We were never without drinks, the appetizers came out timely, and none of our party had complaints about the food portions or quality. Very good night!

This restaurant was highly recommended. Ordered crab mac and cheese, fish market plate (never tried catfish before and was really nice) and the BB salad, all were delicious. Came here for lunch, can imagine it would be very busy

Brown Butter is ALWAYS good. Gourmet quality food in a chill, non-pretentious atmosphere. My only question is why is this place not packed all the time? The BEST restaurant in New Orleans right now.

The first time I dined in, everything was great. The service was standard and the food was great. So I wanted to take a friend from out of town here and it was the opposite of what I remembered. Since it was busy, we were patient with the greet time and how long it took to take our order. But no one checked on us to see if we wanted to order anything else, we sat with a cocktail that we didn't like, and got paid out without being able to see an itemized copy. We asked who our server was and it turns out, we were waited on everyone except our actual server. We understand that it gets busy, but we would've appreciated at least 1 check up. Hoping to give this place one more chance.

It's a decent hangover recovery place with their strong mimosas and over-the-top brunch burger. Service is good. Food times to table is slow. The board wasn't anyone's cup of tea (we had party of 4) It's all smoked and pickled items, (only cheese is a small scoop of pimento and only fresh fruit was a few strawberries) so keep that in mind for $25. Seating is a little tight.
