bartender rejected a friend andmy’s LEGAL out of state IDs despite us both being 24….. flat out said “no” and then kicked our entire party out of the bar. it was bizarre. there were 10 people in there maybe, we were all coming to the bar sober so we weren’t being rowdy, and she refused to serve us and then rudely kicked us out for being “cute”. we walked to anna’s and had a much better time :)

This place is my go to in New Orleans. It is far from a dive bar, but it is an awesome bar in the neighborhood. They often have food pop-ups of all sort, and tonight was no different - a pop-up with delicious pork tamales by Crunchy Munch (pictured). We had just com from hanging out on Frenchmen Street, and wanted to stop for a night cap before heading home. The vibe was wonderful....there was a nice crowd, the DJ was pumping one danceable tube after the other, and the bartenders were doing their usual of greeting every guest at the bar warmly and serving up one delicious cocktail after the other. If you've never been, stop cheating yourself and stop in! You won't be disappointed.

Prices are higher since pre covid but whatever. Awesome bartenders. Great music, a bit loud but we were only about 10 ft from the dj. A good crowd of peoples.

Service always great, also good restaurant next door. Ambience and music on a jukebox. Nicest bar in Bywater.

They do not have food but the bartender was cute and pleasant. Helpful. She played great music on the juke
Generally love this bar, but had a really whack interaction with someone who must be a new bartender (or was having a tough day). If you can’t figure out that two is 20% of ten then I have a feeling it’s gonna be a rough gig. I’m sorry for asking you for quarters for the pool table that exists to be played in the bar; I was intending on sticking around and opening a tab with a card after my cash ran out, but that was soured swiftly. If you feel underpaid, your frustration would be better directed at management rather than towards someone who was trying to relax with friends from the neighborhood. I even attempted to talk with you and come to an understanding, but direct (not passive) communication seemed to be foreign to you, so here we are.P.S. Adding a straw to a gin and tonic doesn’t make you the next Chris Hannah.

Now this is my favorite bar in New Orleans, the best music is here, this is very close to my house, I saw it many times since I arrived but it was my first time and definitely I will back

This is the dumbest man I've ever met in my entire life. If you can't tell by the STUFFED ANIMAL and active drinking the last thing this bouncer had planned for the night was having to... actually bounce?? Doorman and bartenders refused to remove abusers breaking an active restraining order against their victim because "I don't know man they're my friends what do you want me to do".. maybe find a new job that you can be lazy at without being in charge of drunk people's safety and well-being. 0/5 if I could. Absolutely unacceptable
