It’s a must me and my buddy come eat here when I tell y’all they should have one first place if they was during the best food vote at the French quarter fest I’ll give them a 100% everything was tasty and delicious I couldn’t tried the fried bbq ribs because it was pork but the seafood egg roll and fried stuffed pepper was amazing

Hidden gem in the 9th ward just blocks from my Uncle's house. Very nice ambience. Our waitress Jasmine has excellent customer service. I was very impressed from start to finish. Appetizers were Lizardi Rolls & Bacon/Cheese Fries. Entrees were Original Stuffed Bell Pepper with fries and a house salad. Fried Fish & Shrimp with red beans. Also a Hot Sausage Poboy and Fried Fish with fries (both not pictured) I will visit Cafe Dauphine when in town. I suggest you guys give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Visited this place on 8/30 and it was amazing! Everything was delicious! I had lizardi rolls, a taste of a table mate's crabcake, the redfish florentine. OMG. I must go back!

What an amazing experience! I visited Cafe Dauphine NYE weekend for my bday. The ambiance was beautiful. It had a chic jazz feel to it. For appetizers we order the lizardi rolls. The were sooooo good! They were stuffed with crawfish, crabmeat, shrimp and lettuce I believe. For dinner I had the creole gumbo. It was okay. They were a little stingy with the seasoning. My cousin had the creole Alfredo. That was extremely good, highly recommended. The best part of my experience was our waiter. He was very tentative and the restaurant was pretty busy that evening. I can't wait to go back!

I was on FACEBOOK and I saw a review about this BLACK OWNED BUSINESS in the Lower 9th ward. I am VERY HAPPY and SATISFIED that I went there and I have continued to patronize this business because they take PRIDE in the preparation of their dishes. The dining area is quaint but yet has a nice ambiance which allows you to watch the food being prepared. The server's are attentive to you and your requests making the dining experience pleasurable. That's why I've given them a high score and have taken the time to recommend this restaurant to you and anyone visiting New Orleans. The prices are in the median range for Blackened Red Fish in New Orleans.

WHAT can I say, except PERFECTION! The food is AMAZING! Like the old school NOLA taste we have to search our city to find now! The prices are reasonable for locals, its locally owned, and the atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming. But, the BEST thing is...the SERVICE! The staff, from the waitresses to the kitchen, are VERY accommodating, and they do it with a smile! I'm on a fixed income, but I put my pennies aside for the Oyster Poboy here! It's...PERFECTION! Well...I could use DILL pickle slices instead of kosher spears! LOL
