Nice and cozy terrace, very Orleans, nothing more. painful service, queues and self-service but they force you to tip at least 18% anyway ("do I pass the card already? -no, when you mark the tip") breakfast less diabetic than the rest of the N.O. establishments, but a disappointment in relation to the comments I had (which would be American, I'm afraid), not even the French omelet could be saved (there is no way they can make it without any type of filling), of course neither toast with mant.y merm., yes croissants.

Went here for the beignet instead of Cafe Du Monde. They were okay, great if you're into fried, heavily powdered with sugar pastry. Coffee waa perfectly serviceable. Really off-putting when staff (behind the counter) are presenting themselves as only vaguely interested in taking orders, coupled with another employee who walked behind us and yelled at us to move. . Anyway, that's why I'm rating this Café middling.

Chill atmosphere, great architecture concept and intimate seating arrangement. GREAT FOOD!!! The Beignets were so good ..light crunchy outside , soft & fluffy inside almost melting in your mouth ? , so yummy??.. the Breakfast Sandwich with the croissant was absolutely delicious! Top it all off with a Mimosa ?? The pecan pie was equally delicious!

The wait was so long! The food was a huge disappointment. The omelette was just completely unseasoned and overcooked. I threw most of it away. My husband didn’t finish his meal either. The beignets were good, but in retrospect the ones at Cafe du Monde were miles away better. At the end of the trip we decided this was the worst place we went while in New Orleans
