If you plan to visit the famed Cafe du Monde while in NOLA (which I recommend), I recommend this location. It is in city park and right next to the New Orleans art museum. I did not have to wait at all midday and they accepted card payment. The beignets come in sets of 3 and were amazing. The iced cafe au lait was quite good. Important note for those that this effects was that they told me they only have whole milk products for their coffees.

Love that this is in City Park and open late night. Unfortunately, Cafe DuMonde has forgotten what made them great. The beignets are too doughy and don't puff up like they use to. Still good for a late spot snack.

Great place to stop and have a coffee Au lette and a beignet. One of the best beignet I tasted in New Orleans. Light and fluffy and delicious!! The coffee was also very good!! Went perfectly with the beignet.

Had the best chicory coffee and beignet load of powdered sugar , very light and airy this location was across from Jackson Square it is very busy with the best people watching in New
New Orleans City Park is an idyllic setting for Cafe Au Lait and Beignets at the Cafe Du Monde. The CAL is very good and the beignets were puffy, crisp and light. Afterwards, you can take a walk through the park and observe the alligators, turtles and birds while you enjoy the peace and quiet, especially after visiting the French Quarter. Much better than the Cafe Du Monde location in the quarter which is always crowded and noisy.

Really enjoyed eating the beignets and mocha freeze. Delicious ?! Would come back again. Really like this location. Has a cute gift-shop. Plenty if seats and parking. Also, near a park so can take a walk after grabbing snack.

Worth the hype, possibly even underrated. Coffee & beignets were incredible. Lines at this location much better than the one in the French Quarter, plus the walk around City Park after is very relaxing.
