We had a lovely dinner and Chris took great care of us! We really couldn't have asked for a better experience. The band was talented and lovely and not too loud. We are excited to go back!

I was by myself, on a Saturday evening, and walked in without a reservation. They were able to sit me almost immediately, and super close to the live jazz band.Oh it was awesome!! I didn't want to ever leave!I had the gumbo and the fried oysters. They were absolutely delicious!! The service was spectacular. I felt taken care of and had such a great time. I had a wonderful dining experience last night for my bday dinner from all the staff my high light of my night was, I got to meet Executive Chef Alfred/Owner & his beautiful wife the atmosphere & live band was excellent! Go try Cafe' Sbisa you want be disappointed!Parking: If you are familiar with downtown area we know Decatur is not friendly parking so we caught an Uber, but some of my guests lucked up an found parking in front of the door and 2 blocks away.

This was our Anniversary dinner and I was disappointed. The wedge salad was great. Lamb chops were way overcooked. I told the waiter and his reply “we go for a medium rare, but I guess they were off this time!” Won’t go back.

My family didn't have reservations, but they were able to accommodate us all the same. Great service mixed in with great food ?? I'll return whenever I'm in New Orleans.

I love this place and it consistently has amazing entrees. We came here for dinner on a Thursday night and had the turtle soup, trout eugene, and courtbouillion. Our dinner was fabulous and the turtle soup is a must. Service was good and we sat in the room next to the bar which is a nice area. They need to work on their desserts. We had the cheesecake brownie and it was very subpar. It had clearly once been frozen and tasted like something you'd get at a grocery store. I would skip the dessert here.

This is the best food you will have in New Orleans! Compared to some of the more iconic venues (e.g., Commander's Palace), Sbisa is a bit of a hidden gem. We stumbled upon it on a Saturday night while visiting for the week. We ordered three dishes (Trout Eugene - a MUST, Courtbouillion, Shrimp Remoulade) that would each be the star dish at any other restaurant. They were so unexpectedly good that we came back the next day for Sunday brunch, canceling our other plans. We ordered three more dishes (Bananas Foster Pain Perdu - the best, Eugene Omelet, BBQ Shrimp and Grits). Again, all three were unbelievable. In the end, we couldn't decide whether the dinner or the brunch was better. It's rare to find a restaurant with so many distinctive dishes that are all uniquely delicious. Throw in an amazing ambiance in a historic building that's equal parts cozy and grand, an extremely talented live band, and outstanding servers that go above and beyond to make your visit special (shout out to Chris!), and this place is a must-try.

First of all, I got there at opening and was able to meet the chef. So putting the face to such a delicious meal, elevated the experience for me! Bravo! I'll be back for the Lamb chops!

Fantastic jazz brunch with truly bottomless mimosas. Kevin was our waiter and he provided exemplary service. Always checking to make sure we were good. Highly recommend Cafe

Everything about our Sunday brunch at Cafe Sbisa was great. We were seated near the band so we could enjoy the jazz. The service and the food were first rate. The servings were big but not too big and the food was very good. Don't forget to ask about the bottomless mimosas (we almost did).

The food was really good. Party of 4, everyone enjoyed their appetizers and entrees. The restaurant is a little loud, but still had a nice ambiance. The small band that was playing was very good, but added to the noise level. The service was a little off. Our servers were friendly and personable, but Drinks took a long time. We wanted to order a bottle of wine with dinner, but the entrees were dropped off and our server didn't check to see if we needed anything else and left so fast we didn't order the wine. My husband wound up leaving the table to order the wine, but then the server brought the wine over, opened it, put it on the end of the table without pouring it for anyone. This was an $80 bottle. With that being said, I would still go back for the food with the hopes that service would be better next time.
