The bar tenders are either to busy or don’t know how to make drinks. Tequila sours come with egg whites. I don’t appreciate someone 250$ plus and being served drinks that aren’t made up to standard. Watched them make the drinks. Place is good vibes, staff is good. Drinks didn’t meet expectations.

I have been to New Orleans too many times to count. And only experienced this place for the first time in January. It is a lovely experience and the performers are very talented. My friend and I spent hours there and I fell in love with the French 007. It is hard to actually get a seat on the carousel but the wait is worth it.

We stopped in because it was on our "bucket list" for NOLA. No signs about seating etc. so we found a seat and then asked if we could move once someone else got up, was told if it was open we could sit. Didn't get to sit at the bar as it was full. To be expected.Sat for quite a while waiting for someone to greet us. Noone ever bothered to come by, so we got a few pictures and got up to leave. Disappointed by the lack of service for such a swanky establishment.But the drinks were all well over $20 each anyway. And we didn't see much value in the over priced cocktails when we couldn't get service anywayCool place to see though. Inside a beautiful hotel.

Drinks are expensive, but worth it. Try the Vieux Carre. Enjoying that drink is probably more fun than sitting at the carousel. The bar is loud, vibrant and fun. Service and quality of the cocktails is top notch. Don't go there just to say you sat at the carousel and had a light beer. Do go there to have great drinks and enjoy a great bar in an historic hotel.

It never stops. Place this hidden gem as a "I probably shouldn't have any more" bars and let the environment take hold. Hang on , and the bathroom is never in the same place.

It was a novel little thing to drop by and do. There's nowhere to wait for a seat, so it's awkward, and you can tell staff is annoyed with you. There is no signage on what to do or where to go. Got a Sazerac here, as you are supposed to! Bartenders were slammed but pleasant! Novel experience that is fun to try once!
