We found this place while we were in Louisiana. And they were some of the best Tacos. Of course the owner was a native Texan.

The beef and pork tacos were amazing along with the white cheddar Queso dip and green salsa. Service was good only downfall was they were out of brisket which was our reason for going, but the food was so good we will be going back to try brisket.

Got in right before they closed, tried the sampler, catfish, carnitas, and brisket tacos. Honestly I loved everything. Wish I wasn't leaving tomorrow. Saved the best for last apparently.

Quaint little mom and pop located right near the fairgrounds. Love that you can see your food being prepared in the clean kitchen. The Big Daddy Tacos(brisket) were yummy and the cashier( Doug) was chill to talk with(ask him about the stock market) and remembered my name when I came to place a second order. I'll definitely be back.

Absolutely top shelf. The tacos, especially the fish, are fantastic. The guac, the queso and house made chips - superb! The house Froze is perfect: not too sweet. Catherine and Krewe are the definition of hospitable, we always feel warmly welcomed. A local gem!

Extremely painfully overpriced (albeit pretty good) tacos but maybe the best queso in New Orleans? Also next to jockeys which is a huge plus. Very nice staff.

Catherine!!! You did this Houston native's heart some true justice. First of all we showed up less than 20 minutes until close and still got amazing food and service. The tacos were banging. The frozen sangria hit the spot and wasn't super sugary. The queso--I'm obsessed!! Will be back. Shout out to this Gentilly/7th Ward neighborhood staple. My only request is you stay open later but I understand...boundaries. LOL

My new favorite fish taco ever! Tortillas were incredible! Got this delivery and it held up very well. Senor Bob queso dip is delish and overall I'm so impressed with this place. My husband is from Texas and always complains about New Orleans not having a "real" Tex-Mex place and he loved his crispy beef tacos! Run don't walk to this place!
