Hurricane was super cloying. The waiter was condescending in his descriptions of the cocktails when my partner had questions. He walked past us 7 times (it wasn’t busy) before asking how our drinks were. To his credit, he did bring me a different drink when I sent that one back. There are a lot better drinks to be had with much better service in this city. Loa, Jewel of the South, Latitude 29, Richelieu to name a few.

Referred to the bar by concierge at the Waldorf Astoria. Sat right at the bar in front of the bartenders for 10 minutes without even being acknowledged, not even a "I'll be right with you". Stayed at many Four Seasons but this service is so atrocious it embarrasses the name. Never coming back to this place again.

We were in the area and stopped for a quick bite and cocktail. Upon entering, we weren’t sure what to do. Should we seat ourselves or did we need to wait? No one was eager to help up so we stood there a while before one of the staff told us that we could sit anywhere. We didn’t see a server in sight, so we waited some more…. We finally ordered Pickled Crab Claws and Pimento Grilled Cheese. I should have asked about the crab claws because they were served cold and the flavor wasn’t that great. The grilled cheese was really yummy! I ordered a holiday themed cocktail (something with smores). It was a decent drink but seemed a bit overpriced for what it was. I’m not sure that I’d be in a hurry to eat/drink here again.

So many things going for this place so maybe we visited on the wrong night - complimentary bar snack, my brand of gin (The Botanist), and ambiance but loud and rowdy crowd made the experience less than relaxing. We didn’t get the same birthday experience as the table next to us (I think they may have been employees so they deserved the special treatment!). We will try again another time!

The Chandelier Bar is the most beautiful hotel bar downtown. Okay, there are a few places that will give it a run for its money, but this has got to be among the best. The drinks are also 5-star, perfect concoctions, every time. If only it were easier to get to and to park, I would give it six stars...

We came with our kids Thanksgiving evening for drinks/appetizer and live music. It is gorgeous inside. Even the 12 and 16yo were impressed. It made for a special evening. Fries were delicious and generous serving to share. It's pricey but that is to be expected. Loved it.

My favorite bar that I visited in New Orleans, hands down. It's located in the Four Seasons hotel and yes, there is a huge chandelier above the bar. The drinks are not cheap. The service was fast and friendly. The cocktails were enjoyable. Worth a visit for a drink if you are in the area.
