This place is not a special as it is made out to be! But, I guess it’s a Nola tradition.The cafe latte is very well balanced. No milk options or alternatives. Whole milk only. The pastry’s are ok. Personally I would be happier with a funnel cake or dough boy from a fair.Maybe, my review of this place isn’t fair because I live in a foodie city with lots of culture and restaurants.Overall, it’s worth the experience one time.

For all the hype about this place, it is a far cry from what is expected. The bignet was almost raw at the center, and the powdered sugar was old and clumpy. We ordered a large hot chocolate and they gave us a small. The praline was tasty but so very small for the price. Dont waste your time or money here.

The food was very expensive for the portion sizes but the customer service was pretty good. the eggs Benedict was not so good but the grits were amazing. The pasta was also very delicious, especially with the bread. The main reason for the three starts is the wait time was ridiculous!! We were told it would be a 10-15 minute wait and they would call out our name when our table was ready. They didn't ask for a phone number. We proceeded to wait an almost an hour and a half and asked many times when we would be seated to which they always responded with we were next.

Such good service! Popped in for an appetizer one night then came back for breakfast. Service was good, we got sat quickly & got our food not long after. Next time we'd go for dinner or lunch when we're in New Orleans.

Holy cow! This is my favorite meal in NOLA so far. The beignets had a filling that was perfect! The crab meat eggs Benedict and crab cakes were so darn good! This place cemented my positive feelings towards New Orleans. If you're in the area, you must try this. You won't regret it. The service was excellent and quick. Ambiance chill.

Place was empty when we arrived around noon. The girl took our order. We ordered an appetizer, soup and salad. Our appetizer came out right away. We were done with it and no salad and soup insight. Finally after 20 minutes of waiting we asked. It turns out the order was never out in. Since it came out right away after I spoke to the server, it was clear that it was not communicated to the cook to make the stuff because it came out immediately after I complained. May I remind you, the place is empty! It finally came, the crab and corn soup taste gross. All I tasted was corn. Not a piece of crab in the soup! She didn't get my order correctly, and hen miscommunicated or didn't communicate to the cook in the back. If the servers would pay attention to their work rather than be on their phones maybe things would have been more smooth.

Excellent service. Right on the Jackson Square in French Quarters. Cajun Trio with Seafood Gumbo was awesome.... Wife said the cheeseburger she had was best in a while...highly recommend.
