I saw this place on tiktok, and the dude was raving about the food, so when we visited, we stopped in. It was one of the best decisions I made in NOLA.The food was amazing. I got the cajun fettuccine. I've never heard of or tasted a sauce like this...ever. I ask for homemade fettuccine for my birthday every year, and we have had some practice. This blows it out of the water. We also ordered the cesar salad, status quo, its a salad. You dont make a lot of friends with salad, but you made it right. Great work. The service I was a little worried about at first. The gals guarding the doors are not super pleasant, but the wait staff has their game together. Our waiter was great. He was super patient and looked like the dude from the most recent season of 90 day fiancée. I've been rooting for him.The atmosphere was that of an old diner. I like that vibe. It has history and feels right. I dont know about the oysters, I don't eat that.Overall, great food, great presentation, and super welcoming staff, except for the gals outside. That's probably why they are out there. I'm still gunna give you that 5 because you earned it on the inside.

Forgive me for the very late review but I had a strong feeling this would be a "go to" place while at a education conference at the Sheraton across the street last year. I was right. SOOO RIGHT! Shrimp and grits were the bomb and the selection of drinks combined with service, atmosphere - just perfect! I"m going back to the conference again in June and absolutely going to be heading across the street for a return visit!!! Can't wait!Je vous aime les gars!!!

Ordered the salad and it came with lettuce that was brown and slimy. We sent it back and was told they would go through the salad and ensure it was better. The next one came out the exact same. Our server did not check in to see how it was and we ate around the brown leaves. Drinks are the same price as other bars but smaller. We ordered the jambalaya and it was so small. None of the chicken in both dishes were “blackened” and there were no croutons in the salad. Stay away. Much better places to go with better, cheaper and bigger portions.

An absolute must try an historic canal street. Located right off the trolleys and opposite Sazerac House, this location was busy each night for dinner. The menu options were all so delicious the staff hospitality is second to none.

Ate lunch with the family. Very loud and noisy. It took almost an entire hour to get our food . The portions are tiny!! 9$ for a little plate of Mac and cheese.Me and the Mrs had shared the tasting menu and we are still hungry .The grilled chicken salad was OK but the chicken was cold . The food was too spicy also.Kid-friendliness: Had a kid menu, but not kid menu prices

I placed an online order for a shrimp ?? plate with fries. And a second order for alligator ? bites and a side garden salad ?. Everything was delicious ?. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. The next time we visit, I plan on dining in. Thanks for a terrific light dinner.Kid-friendliness: There was a children's menu.
