I have to say I was a little disappointed, I guess the ratings that people are giving it kind of misled me... Don't get me wrong it's not bad at all, it's just more on the average side for me... I could recommend much better places. The people who work there though were very nice and accommodating and I appreciate that. I would give this place more of a 3 1/2 stars but I don't know how to do that with these little star symbols...

One of the best bakeries so far. I really loved this place. It's so cute and screams french vibes especially the courtyard. The staff were so friendly and nice. The pastries overall were pretty good. The raspberry croissant was omg ahmazing! Its so delicious and buttery and has a sweet glaze on top. Prob the best croissant Ive ever had. The tiramisu was really good and the ham n chz croissant was just as good as the raspberry but in a savory way. The coffee was also great. The cream chz danish was not my fav. Its too bready for me. I prefer the puff pastry type. This one is more of a bread texture. And the quiche was kind of meh taste wise and the texture was very lumpy which I didn't really care for. I've never had a quiche so lumpy before. So maybe skip it. But overall I can't wait to go back and get another croissant!

This place is such a rare find I almost don't want to post a review to keep it for myself. Lovely spot just off the French Quarter's central ground zero. Treat yourself to the Italian Cream Cake with a cafe au lait mid-afternoon. Sit on the quiet back terrace and enjoy a little slice of heaven.

Great breakfast with a dozen things on the menu I could have eaten! A decent cup of tea, too, and they gave us fresh milk so we didn't have to use coffee creamer or drink it black! Lovely selection of sweets: would call again here in a heartbeat.

It was a bit late in the morning when we finally made it out of the hotel and onto the street to shop. A friend located this restaurant so we got there to finally kill the hunger. There were several small tables inside but they also have a courtyard like area where small finch like birds hop around looking for crumbs and there is a lovely fountain which softly collecting water just eases the sounds around.I ordered a cafe Americano ($4) and the croissant with two scrambled eggs ($7) and bacon ($3) plus a bottled water ($3). Was given the coffee and water while my meal was prepared. The coffee was delicious! Not bitter and it was steaming hot so once the cream was added it retained that belly filling heat which a good cup of java does to bring one back to life. My breakfast meal was hot and exquisite with the freshly cooked eggs, two pieces of crispy bacon and a croissant that was both buttery soft and chewy. Service was quick and wonderful! Would love to visit to try more items like the lovely pastries they have.

I was looking for a bakery with good croissants in the city and read some reviews about this place so we tried it this morning. To begin, the building is beautiful and we enjoyed the experience of taking in a historic location like this one. I was pretty disappointed with the food that we ordered. They microwaved (without us asking) both our Ham & Cheese croissant and quiche which really took away from the integrity of the pastry itself. We ordered a Croque Monsieur which also appeared to have been prepared and then microwaved with a fried egg placed on top, the flavor of this was not great. The almond croissant (that was not microwaved) was the best of the pastries we tried but was not as flavorful or as flaky as some others from different bakeries. I will likely not return.

This is my favorite place in the quarter. I recommend this place for every visiting friend or curious tourist. The croissants are flaky and perfect. The coffee is delicious. The old itialian marble dining area is beautiful, and the courtyard is charming. All of the food here is great.Parking: Walk here. There is not a lot of parking in the quarter. It's worth the walk.

Went for lunch on a Sunday. Bread on sandwiches was very basic and not fresh-tasting. My husband’s sandwich had such a small amount of salami. My tuna was not good. Will not recommend.

Very cute little cafe! The little pastry snacks were delicious, the people working were pleasant. We ate in the little outdoor courtyard but the inside was also very near and pretty. Overall a lovely start to your day!
