I am not impressed with this hotel at all. Poor HVAC … roaches in the coffee area, one working elevator, internet that is poor, and lots of immature behavior being allowed by other guests lent to a not so pleasant stay. I definitely do not recommend this hotel.

I loved the view at the hotel not to mention the classiness of the staff and hotel it's self, it was memorable for sure. The attention that put into the decorations made for great pictures as well as the ballrooms we rented out!!! Kick off to our book signing was amazing ?

Don't let the advertisement fool you!! This hotel is far from luxury! It is definitely historic, all the way down to the preservation fee of $18 PER DAY that they don't tell you about until they take it out of your security deposit. The hotel has seen better days and has not been maintained well. The door knob was broken in the bathroom, you could get locked in the there if not careful. Maintenance came and "fixed" it, then it just didn't stay closed at all. Toilet wouldn't flush, they "fixed" that too. Elevators were constantly out of service, climbing up 5 flights of stairs after a hot day of sight seeing. On the 3rd night, I stopped on the street to take a picture outside the hotel. A security guard who was never present before, stopped us on the street and demanded to see our room key. We had no idea where he came from and said no. He harassed us all the way into the hotel, we explained to the desk that we thought he was a scammer on the street. They treated us like we were over reacting to some stranger asking for our room key on the street. The advertised roof top pool has been under renovations for who knows how long! The lobby and chandeliers were beautiful. Don't waste your money...move on!

While the reception area of the hotel was clean and the majority of the bedroom was clean the bathroom was dirty and we asked the manger Cece multiple times to clean it on our first night there, we were told someone would be up to clean it, nobody came my mum brought stuff from CVS and cleaned the bathroom herself, we didn't know what the white stuff was all over the shower. We paid a $350 security deposit and we're told by the Manger Cece we would get the full amount back as long as we didn't charge anything to the room, just to be told on checkout day that we were charged $69 for prehistoric fees and other fees that we were not informed off, Cece also told us that we could use a pre paid visa card able to buy at a CVS as a security deposit as we didn't have a credit card, it would take 10 days to get the money back on the card as I'm from Northern Ireland I would no longer be in the USA and I don't have a social security number, Cece however told me she would help me out, she never once answered my emails, I have since found a way to use it, however the hotel was in a good location if you don't mind a 10/20 minutes walk to bourbon St or Cafe du Monde,

My wife and I stayed here in 2018 and fell in love with the place. However, since then the hotel has really fell down hill. We brought our 2 children in June 23 and was disappointed. To start, we booked through a 3rd party site. We purchased a room described as a double double with an extra bathroom. However, when we arrived we were told that no such room exists. So we got the standard room for a more expensive price. The people in customer service were not understanding nor were they in any way friendly. They seemed put out by any of our concerns. To be even more disappointed, The POOL IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED. The website does not tell you this, as this is one of the main reasons we chose this hotel with our kids. Finally, the hotel is beginning to show its age. 2 of the 3 elevators are broken, leaving 1 elevator to serve all the guests and staff. Remodeling on the 7th floor leaves workers to be constantly coming and going up and down the only elevator. The place has a great elegant vibe of a classy hotel. The bar is quaint with a nice selection of drinks and the bartender Jon was the only positive person in the place. I would love to try this place once more but it will take some time and reassurances there has been some significant changes.

We booked the 'Le Pavillion' for two nights at the end of our trip as Booking.com had a deal on. It was a stunning hotel, immaculately clean, friendly staff and the room was spacious with incredibly comfy beds! the hallways on each floor were the widest hallways with the plushest carpets I have ever seen. The only downside while were there was the one of the two lifts were broken but it really didn't impact us that much. The room we had was beautiful, the beds were comfy, the vanity unit was perfect and the bathroom was clean and stunning too. We would 100% recommend staying here

We stayed for 3 days in your hotel, Le Pavillon in New Orleans. The day before our departure, we entered our room at around 11 pm, and found some items out of order. Upon review we found that our luggage was tampered with and many valuable items were stolen from my husband and me. we submitted two reports and we havent received any news from the hotel management. When we made our claim the manager seemed more preoccupied in assigning blame on us, the clients, than to figuring out what happened. He first suggested we were at fault for leaving the door of our room open, with no basis to the claim and despite assurances that it was not the case and the distance of our room from the elevator (on the far side of the hotel). So, besides the aforementioned, he also seemed to suggest some other guests were criminals. He later on told us to wait a moment while he checked the keycard system to review the access logs. We acquiesced and later on he returned to inform us that the system was locked and the IT officer was not on call and could not be located until next morning (our departure was around 5:30am so it was a moot point). He also advised us that contacting law enforcement was a foolhardy endeavor as they would not even send anyone to take the report as "this is New Orleans" (great tourism pitch by the way). At this stage my husband and I were felt dismayed as we understood that we would not get any recourse from your staff but begrudgingly left the guest incident reports (attached herewith) with the promises that at least we would have gotten an email expanding on the case or at least an acknowledgement that the incident had taken place off, as of today we have received none. We lost around $600 in valuable and personal items, and never received a response, email from our incident report. we believe that this is something that has happened before in the hotel as it felt standard operating procedure for these people: - taking on small but valuable items on the last night of the guest stay in the hopes that said guest doesn't notice it until it arrives home and then it can either be assumed lost in the rush, stolen in the hotel or the airport thereby mixing the response of the client. we had an awful experience in this hotel. We have not received any response from management.

Having read a lot of negative reviews before my trip, especially regarding the lack of hot water, I was worried I’d made the wrong decision in booking this hotel. Luckily I had nothing to worry about, as the hotel was fantastic. We booked a basic room but it was very spacious with all the amenities we could need. We had no issues with hot water which was a welcome relief. Many people have also mentioned about the lifts, there was only one out of two working however we never had to wait too long for it so this was not an issue for us. The location was great just a short walk to the French Quarter. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Still a beautiful and Grand Hotel. Perfectly located not far from Casino, Harden District and French Quarter.Elegant rooms with luxurious beds . Peanut butter and jelly sandwich hour a pavilion tradition with a wonderful staff If I could pick a hotel to live in it would be here.

Beautiful hotel good location friendly helpful staff the only reason for the 4 was one of the two elevators was out of service and there were 3 wedding parties staying there so it was a little bit of a wait. Nothing terrible though. They did allow is to use the service elevator if needed. I would absolutely stay here again.

This hotel was formerly one of the finest in New Orleans. We have stayed there many, many times. All the employees knew our names. A few years ago, a national conglomerate bought the hotel, and things have been awful ever since. All the loyal employees were released. No more doormen in top hats. No more custom breakfast omelets. DO NOT STAY HERE. On a visit there a few months ago, the housekeepers were screaming cuss words at each other in the hallway. I was so alarmed that I thought there was going to be physical violence. We reported to management who didn't seem to care very much. This past weekend, my good friend stayed in the hotel. Someone used a master pass key to rob his room of everything. No cameras. Management laissez faire. New Orleans police department not much better. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The hotel does not live up to it's reputation and history, I expected more grandeur, more luxurious. The potential is very much there but needs some TLC to bring it back to it's former glory. The hotel was clean and our room comfortable; the sink was clogged and one elevator wasn't working. The staff, being all teenagers were friendly and accommodating. We often joked about the adults being held hostage on the 9th floor since that is the one supposedly with the most ghostly activity. On another note we didn't experience any haunts except for a blinking blue light in the vent the first evening., never showed up after that night, who knows! The hotel did not offer a full service restaurant but a meager breakfast buffet on the weekend, I do mean meager. All in all we enjoyed our stay, would not stay again unless changes were made.

Thieves and scammers is what comes to mind the most when you think about this hotel. Due to the fact that we had a delayed flight from Europe we wanted to check in and get a room one day later (for reasons beyond our control). The service at the reception informed us that our 1 week stay was cancelled without a possibility to rebook. All the money was of course paid in advance. To take your money and not give hotel room - scandalous policy of the hotel. We got stuck in the middle of New Orlean after 48 hours travel with no help or place to stay. Outrageous behavior and customer service!! I totally do not recommend.

So don’t believe the website that check-in is at 3pm…..beyond that this hotel is dilapidated, worn out, and does not have the staff customer service level to make up for it. Do not stay here - almost anywhere in New Orleans is better.

No hot water for 2 days...during carnival season...this is 2023. Do I really have to rent a mediocre room AND boil water in their silly little fireplace to wash my face? I suggest Motel 6 over this joint. The PB&J tradition is gone. They don't care about that bs anymore. Covid is over, gang. Fix it. This place has lost all charm beyond the lobby chandelier. Management, front desk and maintenance are very poor. Good luck enforcing that $75 lost plastic band rule.
