I've lived in Algiers for 30+ years and have never had the pleasure of eating there but this Lenten season was the perfect time to give them a try, we ordered the seafood 3 combo platter...the food was fresh, hot, and super yummy ?!!! Even my 88 year old Mother who rather cook at home was impressed!!! A staple in the neighborhood has gained another satisfied customer, keep up the great cuisine!!!

$20 for a shrimp po boy. (Didnt see any option for a half) It was ok, not super great. The Gumbo was so so. Needed some more filet & prob some salt.I will stick w the muffulates from now on.Service was great!

visited the covington location. staff was friendly as could be food was really good restaurant was extremely clean and food was moderately priced. Job well done folks. Hats off to Gustavo , Cedricka.L and the entire staff. We will be returning to this location soon.

Try this place by recommendations from the locals. I had the roast beef muffuletta, excellent, everything was fresh to order. I totally recommend just based off this sandwich I tried for the 1st time. Will for sure come back if I'm in New Orleans

I had & recommend the shrimp po-boy, my wife had & recommends the muffuletta, which she says is the best muffuletta in New Orleans, my son had the shrimp & oyster po-boy, and my grandson had a child's meal. The staff were clean & neat, well spoken, friendly, and professional. The manager came around to the tables to talk to the customers and ensure that everything was well. Thank you!Parking: The parking lot is clean, open, & spacious!Kid-friendliness: They have kids type meals, burgers, etc., and are completely family friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: There are wheel chair accessible parking spaces with van ramp spaces and the interior is open.

Has the ownership of this store on DeGaulle changed hands? I have been a patron of this store for many years and today will be the last time I patronize them. a small sandwich combo plate (ham and roast beef) with two sides and a drink was $23.25. this is a sandwich shop! I asked for nothing on the sandwich and it was a good thing I was paying attention, because there she was loading it up with mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato.

Most places that serve muffelatas have one size and you can order a whole, half or quarter. Here you have small and large. I got the small and it was easily enough for two people. The large must be crazy! Olive mix was good and the bread was perfect. A little crispy and soft in the middle. I had a side of red beans and rice, which were really good ni would return just for that. Staff was nice and very friendly.

Delicious! I had no idea what a Muffuletta was before ordering but I was very impressed with the flavor of the olive dressing and the bread. The small was enough for two meals so they offer very generous portions.

Been searching for a good muffuletta and this place makes my now favorite and best tasting muffuletta in the city. Damned good. Avoid the Central Grocery trap with their "all bread no meat and flavorless" muff and travel to the West Bank for a delicious treat!
