If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY PARTY. First, she held the deposit hostage though the wedding was cancelled due to COVID. She refused to return the deposit when asked multiple times (over the course of two years). THEN wedding reception goes on and the food is not worth the money paid. AND she tried to send away another caterer that we hired for appetizers only. She literally told him to go away and wouldn’t let him in room. She then took everything with her. Things we had bought that she had no right to take (leftovers, sternos etc.) The reception was half the number we originally hoped for, she didn’t handle the center pieces nor the cake. There was no deduction in cost, but rather an additional charge for $1,000 extra. Ridiculous and awful. DO NOT LET HER TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU.

We hired Nancy with food art for our wedding in February, I debated posting this review but thought it was necessary. We went with food art as a last resort due to COVID and a lack of other available caterers for our date… we regret that decision to say the least. To start Nancy was extremely rude from our first meeting to the last she acted “too busy” to be bothered with us even though we were spending well over $30,000 for her services. The food was sub par and COLD. Even my wife and I’s first meal after being married which was a few Sausages, a pasta and chicken were all ice cold when we got the plates. She was rude to the owner of the venue and left the kitchen a complete and total disaster. Over all it was a complete let down and I would not recommend Nancy or Food Art to anyone… ever.

Food Art is amazing!!! Food Art catered my daughter's wedding and everything was beyond perfect.... the event turned out exactly as we had hoped... they are amazing ... working with them is a dream.... if you need THE perfect caterers, this is the one for you!!!

The food was delicious, the presentations just as I wished and the service just superb!! The food received rave reviews from everyone. The menu was a wonderful representation of New Orleans specialties, but also accommodated our many vegetarian guests and my vegetarian husband! Stephanie was a wonderful person to work with as we planned the menu and she guided us as we selected rental items to use with the catering. Food Art is very flexible and let us bring in our own alcohol and rental items while providing labor to flip our space from the ceremony to reception (our venue was Race and Religious). Additionally, Stephanie was so thoughtful and organized in all her correspondence with my mother and me. And again, the food!!!!

I spent dozens of hours working with this vendor to have them eventually refuse my calls and emails. This was after numerous phone calls, emails, meeting in person....then all of a sudden I could get no response...I finally called after 3 months of no response over email...was told my event was next on the agenda...no response...ever...a horrible way to treat any customer....id give 0 stars if I could.

Thank you Food Art for catering my wedding Stephanie was amazing to work with and when things came up in the week before my event, she stepped up to the plate and made everything easy. The day of, everything ran smoothly. The guests raved about the apps and the food. The service was impeccable. They did run out of Abita about 2 hours in, but someone was sent out for more. Flexible and impeccable.

Food Art is the one stop place for every detail, major or minor, in planning a memorable affair. Whether it is that special party, rehearsal dinner, catering, or even the need for additional tables, dishes, or stemware Food Art will take the anguish, worry, and more importantly the cleanup right off your shoulders. And that means that you can not only put on the party but also enjoyed it as much as your lucky guests. My wife and I have hosted some, if I do say so myself, very nice parties in our home. They have been fun events but we have been exhausted by the time the last partyer says adieu. Food Art is our answer to throwing a shindig, enjoying it, and not feeling fatigued when it ends. We met with Stephanie and sat down and planned the affair from the menu, to all that would be needed in detail. Every staff member was completely professional and totally committed to making our plans as carefree for us as possible. They appeared on time and carried out their duties perfectly. If you need someone to handle the party guests as we did ask for Robert. Furthermore and this puts the icing of this cake the food prepared was very good. Tasty and flavorful that resulted in us receiving numerous positive comments from our guests. Permit me to share with you some of the food items we selected. Crabmeat Martinis - this selection took the top award for the food Louisianan Orange Wine Poached Chicken Pieces Shrimp & Bacon Mac N' Cheese Black & White Sesame Crusted Saku Block Tuna Fried Brussel Sprouts Oyster Rockefeller Dip Cajun "Caviar" (vegan) Petite Sweets - none were left for the next day At the end of the party the food still around was saved and the tables and everything else were removed and we just sat back and watch the proceedings. This is the business we will have arrange all of our entertainment in the future. The planning, staff, equipment, service and the food makes that an easy choice. This business as my Seal of Approval!

Just awesome. Food Art catered our wedding this past weekend and it was fabulous. Stephanie, sales manager, was incredibly helpful and responsive. She was able to adjust our menu to our exact preferences and work with our budget. Our venue is tough logistically, having no kitchen area and no hiding places, but Stephanie and her crew pulled it off flawlessly. The only criticism I have is that I did hear them talking downstairs during our ceremony, as our venue is very open and only partially renovated. Other than that, the service was professional. The presentation is beautiful, and my guests raved about the food. It was so good that we ate literally all of it. I'm sure some of my more drunk guests tried to lick the plates... Anyway, I would recommend their services for any event!
