Golden Wall was their Chinese of choice so I gave it go... uhhhhhh... 2.5 would be the better rating... It was half good, not great... I ordered (for delivery) the Singapore Mei Fun and the fried pork dumplings... The "good" part was the Mei fun... Good flavor and noodles were good as well, pork was chewy, only 6 small shrimp, and normal amounts of chicken & veggies... The dumpling were wontons and were very chewy with so little pork... don't do it... at least not for delivery... atypical American Chinese...

This place is good... it's been a go-to for the past few years in the Quarter and they have been quick, friendly, and consistent. Also really appreciate the fact that they are open daily and stay open later than everywhere else

i ordered: - beef fried rice - beef and mixed veggies - mandarin chicken - egg drop soup for only $37 total in cash. they also given us wontons & 3 rice containers. we waited a total of possibly 10 minutes but they were really nice, but the food didn't seem as traditional. only thing that was really questionable was the mandarin chicken, the sauce came with some sort of gravy which was far from the sweet and savory chicken we know.

Traveling through New Orleans for business and wanted a cozy night in. So I ordered delivery. I wasn't expecting much but the food was delicious, hot and oddly better than I get at home. The delivery driver followed instructions and actually had a smile on his face. I recommend the Hot and Sour soup - so spicy!!

Lady rang me up with a higher price than the price posted on window and the one on the menu in front of me. I questioned the overcharged amount. "Only for cash." Meaning the listed price is for cash and the prices she made up and charged me were not for cash. That is not written on the menu or posted anywhere, I said. She repeated the higher amount. But would accept a lower amount in cash for the same food. Bait & switch pricing. A tourist trap. Graffiti covered exterior. Some doors are nailed shut with a piece of wood (fire & safety code violation?). A tourist trap. Avoid.

Best beef with snow peas I've ever had in my life! Tons of meat and peas. Really fresh and good quality. Amazing value.
I was extremely disappointed. The person taking the order was unfriendly. I was unfamiliar with the menu and the attendant was unhelpful. The food looked as if it was prepared in the microwave. After about three bites I threw my plate away. Then I was charged extra for using a debit card. I certainly will not dine there again.

A run down chinese restaurant. Staff knows just enough english to take your order. The food isnt tasty at all.Caution - they round off the total amount. Ask for itemized receipt and see what i mean. Usually i leave the change in the tips jar, but definitely not pleased at how they simply thought its ok to round it off and keep it.If you absolutely have no other place to dine or order from, then go ahead ...else stay away

Well, I gave Golden Wall another chance after not going there for a couple of years. Big mistake. Chicken Fried Rice, easy enough. Totally unappetizing. Chicken unrecognizable, chopped almost as small as the rice grains, NO vegetables, slight sprinkling of green onion. It was SO horrible I couldn't eat it. And the 3 bites I did manage to eat came right back up. Just shy of $10, it's in the trash now. I will never go back. Ever. I wish I didn't have to post any stars at all.

Pretty good. I love the rice. The chicken is kind of spicy. I don’t really like spice my taste buds can’t handle it. But overall it’s a good taste. Parking sucks. But it’s canal street. It’s expected.
