My friends are visitors of New Orleans. Being Texas natives, it was very enjoyable to experience the diverse and unique culture the city has to offer. The day was amazing, and it was unfortunate it had to end on such bad note with our visit to this establishment. You would think he didn't earn his paycheck on tips the way our server treated us with disrespect and poor service. He was judgmental and rude towards our party. But you know they say, great food can make up for bad service. However, this Gordon Biersch did not fit this criteria unfortunately. The salmon dish was a disappointingly small portion size, and my friend's pizza literally had a piece of metal in it. A lack of concern was given from management and staff. I write this in hopes that one else makes the same mistake my friends and I did. This restaurant is a stain in the pretty painting that is New Orleans.

Being from out of town, my group and I were so excited to try out this place considering the great reviews about customer service we read on here, however we unfortunately were very disappointed and disgusted. Our first server was very condescending and aggressive.With any request we had, he opposed us. He also laughed at my friend for requesting another salmon (considering the small portion he received) but once he mentioned he’d pay for it, the server offered another plate. Having worked in the food industry, I can understand it can be stressful after a long busy night, however you should not treat anyone like this in any circumstance. After speaking to the manager, we received a new server crystal , which was very kind and attentive, thank you crystal! However my friend then found a piece of metal to the pizza she took to go, what did they do? Nothing . Their plan was to find out where it came from. The manager did not come out to apologize for this or seem slightly bothered by this considering how unpleasant this whole experience was. DO NOT come here. I will say our hosts were extremely kind. We did not feel welcomed at all.

Very disappointing experience, the waiter was extremely rude and discriminative, he did not pay attention to what we ordered, we told him that we were going to pay the changes and he did not like it, one goes to a restaurant to have a good time and eat delicious food and here not even You have a good time because of the waiter's rudeness and you don't even eat delicious food because they serve you what the waiter wants, TERRIBLE

The most confusing menu. Makes no sense at all. The slowest worst service I have received anywhere in Nee Orleans. I feel out of lack of training. The server certainly seemed capable and very polite. We received no water service at all until half way through the meal after requesting a couple times. There were 8 of us and seemed no one in the restaurant at all to start. There is no atmosphere whatsoever. Everyone recovered their meals except me. I only received a salad after I ordered the salmon. Asked our waiter. He said he was going to check. I think the chef forgot to make it? I dk t know after 20 minutes I got a completely different looking piece. Of salmon than 2 of my other table mates. It was beautiful and delicious. Their salmon looked like some kind of a salmon burger. Then we wanted to try all of the desserts between us all. They only had 2 desserts available. Over all I give it 2 thumbs down even though the food was great. We will never go back. Get it together.
Woof. Everyone’s food was ordinary or worse. I asked for a medium steak and they cooked it on the surface of the sun. Same for my colleague’s burger. Sides were not good. You’ll survive but so many better options here. Do not recommend.

Stopped in for lunch. Was seated quickly. The place was spacious, lots of booths and music playing. Had brussel sprouts, chicken tenders, pretzel, burger and sweet potato fries, as well as a few drinks. Food was good, chicken tenders were a little under seasoned. Waited a bit a few times for the waitress to return.
Tasty food, great German/Czech style beer selection! We wanted to taste Sazerac cocktail and they made it for us, although it's not on the drink menu. Awesome staff!
Fries soggy, cod fish bland and very thick crust. Cheeseburger mediocre. Quick service and convenient to casino.

While waiting waiting for my buddies to get into the city, I showed up right at happy hour to have garlic fries that I have missed for very long time, and three dollar beers. On top of that I got the Bavarian pretzel, which was very good. The ladies tending the bar were very nice. Restaurants and breweries are all over the country and this one is just as good as the ones back home .
