We came across Bread Fo Tha Soul at the local farmers market on Thursdays by Parkway. He was offering samples and that was so fantastic! We tasted the sweet potato bread which I will buy next time, as well as, the olive rosemary and the tomato basil... each cost $13 but we got them and are eating our hearts out! First off... we made a tomato basil bread grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup!!! Just do it! And then we did it again the next night... so yeah... one loaf has made 6 thick sliced sandwiches (12 slices) and we have enough left for 2 more smaller sized. Totally worth it... if I'm paying a higher price then it's gotta be worth it and it is... so now I gotta find the best sandwich for the olive rosemary... maybe something with lamb.... But I'm thinking of doing a fresh mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes with balsamic drizzle and more olive oil. And I may cut some up and make some croutons for a salad. But grilling it with some butter was the first thing I did and it was delish!

I was so excited to try this place based on the reviews and my love for pizza. Also, I don't often get to eat at a Black owned pizzeria!Unfortunately it seems the proprietor has some issues being open during the listed hours and I wasn't able to try it!Hopefully I can have some next time I'm in NOLAI'm rooting for your success my brotha!

I first tried " Bread for the Soul " breads 15 years ago at the french market. They are truly the best specialty breads I have ever had. Glad to see it's back.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

You can tell Kevin takes pride in his work. Not only a good pizza, but a handmade, crispy New-York style crust. The sauce must be handmade as it has visible pieces of tomato and is seasoned perfectly. Everyone in our vacationing party agreed - the pizza was well balanced and delicious!

We ended up at the mardi gra zone when we met Kevin he was pulling some fresh bread from the oven it didn't take long wafting in the appetizing aromas to decide we needed to try some. Shortly after purchasing we then learned he also makes pizza. Later we tried the bread but that quickly sealed the deal we we're going to have to go back and try the pizza. Gotta say did not disappoint beautiful New York style crust perfectly balanced sauce with just a little kick cheese blend and pepperoni this man puts a lot of pride in his work and it shows. I thank you

Excellent pizza, homemade dough from Kevin who has made his mark in NOLA as a bread baker. If you like his bread you'll love his pizza. Try the "In the Zone" pizza. The thin crust is like they make in Naples! The pizza are made fresh to order The bakery where the pizza is made is inside a small grocery store and has a few tables if you want to enjoy your pizza on location
