Joey K’s is an awesome spot not overly expensive like some restaurants around town. Make sure the Eggplant Napoleon pasta gets ordered.

Just wonderful. Amazing food and great staff, I went there with people that are not fluent in English and they were very patient while I interpreted for them. Our server was a kind young lady that made great suggestions so we could try creole food and was overall very attentive. The food was amazing as well, we had a fantastic roast beef po boy and some great red beans and rice. A great restaurant at Magazine St!Dietary restrictions: I informed them of my shellfish allergy and they helped me choose food to accommodate for this. They were very kind and informative.

This place has the best fried chicken that I've ever had in my life. The batter is perfectly crisp and not overly done. The meat is as juicy as you'd want it to be.

If you don't remember anything else about this review, know this - the servings are huge! I ordered the appetizer-size of the Eggplant Napoleon and my husband ordered half of a Roast Beef Po-Boy and we were stuffed! The food was rich, decadent, delicious, and fresh. The service was friendly. We snagged a table outside which made for an entertaining experience because there was a solo-saxophone-player on the corner that couldn't play on key - hilarious! I also ordered the Pimm's Cup cocktail that could have been a meal in itself! Delightfully refreshing.

Little mom and pop vibes with great food and exceptional service. My husband and I had the hot sausage poboy and catfish platter. We paired it with a French 75 and mule which were great as well.

My favorite restaurant in New Orleans. Great portions at fair prices and the tastes are heavenly. A short walk from the st charles streetcar, so there's no excuse to not go there.

Great little place to get red beans and rice. I'm fine with employees who are cranky seemed to be the normal experience while we were in New Orleans.

Host seated us outside this evening and gave us menus. I cannot rate the food because we didn't get any service. We left after 20 minutes as no one from the wait staff acknowledged us or took a drink order much less a food order. They were not even busy, and the wait staff even bussed a couple of dirty tables and waited on a table of folks who came after us. We went down the street to The Rum House and had excellent service and food.

If you go on Saturday, be sure to get the special half roasts beef po boy with jambalaya AND red beans n rice. Well worth the 14.95. I still have plenty for tonight. We also got fries with brown gravy on the side, gravy was phenomenal. Excellent service too!

We went to Joey K's after jumping off the hop and ride bus tour for lunch. The fried catfish was delicious, hot, crispy and moist.
