Omg. If you wanna dig into some awesome shrimp boil. This is the joint. I would steer away from the oysters, if you are an oyster fan. While they are large, they don’t have that PEI flavor. The shrimp is worth the stop. Also it’s surrounded by a ton of vendors, drinks and don’t forget paper towels ;)

The largest raw oysters I have ever had! I split a dozen and it was perfect. Love the atmosphere, and the selections overall will have to be tried next time I come back. Best part, no line and very friendly service!

Sadly the gumbo here was flavourless. We also ordered shrimp and grits and that was a mild improvement in the taste department.

This place is a MUST TRY in New Orleans! Fantastic creole food with fresh ingredients that tastes like it was made with love and passion. My go to dish I order is the oysters creole but I've also have their crawfish pie and crawfish beignets - all amazing! Whatever sauce they drizzle on their food is so delicious I wish I could bottle it up lol. The staff are friendly as always and my food comes in a timely manner. I love that there's also seats nearby to enjoy my meal. I can't WAIT to return here. ?

Tried the upside down oysters, nice little fried snack. The guy at the kitchen counter was very helpful, he also helped us choose the sauces, seasonings etc we wanted to purchase - explained us everything patiently. Can’t say the same about the staff at the cash register, not as friendly.

Small and expensive oysters. Paid $55 for half doz raw oysters and half doz charbroiled oysters including 15% tips. Nothing great. What are the other reviews talking about?

The food was top notch. Nothing against the food whatsoever. However the female at the front register wearing the angel wings was extremely rude and disrespectful to my friends and I. We stood for about maybe one minute discussing what to order, then one member of my group ordered food. I was going to order next then the female tried to take someone else’s order before mine. Once all members of my group ordered, it took a very long time to get our fried pickles and 6 oysters. We went to the register to see how long and she was disrespectful saying we were giving attitudes meanwhile she cursed at us in front of about 10 customers. Her language was very disgusting and inappropriate. She treated us very poorly and we will never go back.
Food was actually good, but the attitude was horrendous. The girl at the register, I have no words for how racist and rude she was towards me and our group of friends since my wife wore a hijab. But I give them credit for the char broiled oysters.

Worst shrimp and grits in town. In fact, this was the only bad food I had in New Orleans. Dry clumpy grits and overcooked chewy shrimp. Stay away

Do not recommend this place completely forgot to make our order and we were the only ones waiting smh . Thankfully I asked after waiting almost 20 min and saw them closing their store . We got our refund but makes me not ever visit the whole French market now and we were so excited to be there for our first time ... not only did they not apologize the black lady behind the Counter was completely rude smh

Popped by here after seeing it mentioned on a Youtube video. The seafood tacos were excellent and I'd highly recommend getting your food here if you're passing by.
