I found out during my visit that this establishment and its owner is a racist, as he assisted on removing a black man from the establishment without talking to him when one of his staff members asked a man whose a US citizen for his passport on travel. I was cursed out by the staff member for simply asking what's going on.Will not return

While the vibe seemed great, we weren’t able to get in with a foreign drivers license and the guy on door staff went OFF. Incredibly rude and clearly just wanted a little power play. He also tripped up on himself after saying that the ID has to be a ‘license or passport’… it was a license. This is the only place in the whole of NOLA we’ve had this issue.

This place is racist! I couldn’t believe what I was experiencing. Me and my friend walked up with food from liberacion and before we could ask the door guy went off! As we watched people with outside drinks, Wendy’s! And huge bags of stuff waltz right on in. Guess what demographic he let in! He then proceeded to bash us to other patrons as we sat outside in the seats to wait for our Ubers. If you’re black don’t wasn’t your time unless you want to be treated like a second class citizen.

If you want to have a great time here, get in before the absolute idiots of door staff arrive. The guy on the door with the glasses is on a complete power trip, and is not able to be reasonable when it comes to judging a person’s age.Other than that, David and Amy were superb on our first night there. A really mixed experience.

Unprofessional staff. Rude and insulting. Find another place to go. Emporium across the street is always friendly and accommodating.

Bought a t shirt from this establishment. Left it on my seat for less than 30 seconds, saw a a guy sitting there who happens to be a DJ working there on other shifts. Told him that was my seat but the the T-shirt I bought was missing, mentioned it to the bartender who walked around as if he were looking for it, then had a bouncer stand next me to me so he could tell me that it t was my fault the t shirt went missing and and have the bounce escort me out of the establishment after I displayed my grievance about it. Most likely never coming back here and don’t recommend anyone else coming here either.

The vibe here was outstanding, me and my girl ,"who has cerebral palsy", more then enjoyed ourselves, Kay-B was such an amazing person and vibe! She made us feel so accepted and comfortable, if it wasn't for her I wouldn't have felt so comfortable or amazed by this place even with the people so open and comfortable themselves, the service was beyond super, no problems at all, I see that it's a 4.2 star but I'll say they definitely deserve the chance because after two years of living here and visiting once, I know I've found somewhere that I can escape and have a good time. Thank you, Kay-B! My neighbor is also someone who works here and has been beautiful to us! Please give this place a chance and come enjoy a fun time! Give Kay-B here money! Love it! We both do!

So definitely not my choice for a bar but I'm better off knowing this place exists. Similar to most bars in New Orleans, I could've sworn I've been here before. Something about the patio seems really familiar? Glitch in the matrix, I don't know. So if you know me, karaoke and I do not mix. I've performed a total of 3 times in public in my life, and maybe 6 times period. It's just bad, and it takes an amount of alcohol I'm just not comfortable consuming in public. So how did I end up at a bar that exclusively does karaoke? Someone's birthday, as the DD no less. Still had a hella good time. The regulars got the party going early, then turned it up when the crowd got warmed up. Solo Linkin Park, WAP by the DJ and bouncer, Radiohead by a cowboy?! Props all around, we had a blast. My friend got to relive her early days with backup singers. Classic NOLA. Good basic bar food, lots of alcohol and even alt non alcoholic drinks. It's been awhile since I've hung out on St Claude, and it looks like it's coming up a little bit. There are a couple bars, restaurants, shops etc nearby worth checking out as well.
