Red Beans and Rice not good - granted it was around midnight on a wednesday. Sasuage was burnt, rice was hard and food took 45 minutes to come out.

It was ok. Great place to sit and people watch. Touristy. Most of these places seem to just do a bare minimum to just get by. Food was just meh. Service was stellar!

The greeter had great energy to get people into the door. Once inside and upstairs, the server lacking the same energy and took a long time to get basic essential items to start the meal. The oysters were average while the Boudin balls were below average. We ordered the crab Caesar, which lack crab in the actual bits of fried bread and the drinks with part of the meal were the worst of them all. The drinks were below average and if you asked for premium liquor, you were served well brand and charged for premium prices. When management was asked about the discrepancy he confirmed that they were were given the wrong type of liquor but it was premium liquor after all. I would not recommend for anyone coming to New Orleans for good food and drinks, nor for any locals seeking a good meal. There are too many good places in the city to be subject to the food and drinks here. Stay away!

Not busy at all... only 4 tables with people. To 40 min for them to take our drink order. Because the hostess never told the waitress we were hers. She finally takes our drink order, takes the ticket to the bar and the bar tender rolled his eyes at her and placed the ticket on the counter before hopping on his cell phone for the next fifteen min. Our drinks finally came after complaining. Looked nothing like the menu described... couldn't even put sugar on the rim as described. Offered to remake our drinks, and in an hour and twenty min...could only remake 2. I never got mine. The shrimp po boy came out cold with only 2 pieces of shrimp. Fries cold. Gator bites, luke warm... red beans and rice had good flavor, but even it was cold. The girls did enjoy the oyseters though... in my opinion, Best thing they had to offer was really a sprite. The waitress tried, but they was playing her dirty. That's the only reason I give em any stars at all really, and the fact I liked their location... because I could people watch.

Wonderful little restaurant and bar in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The oysters were so big and fresh I had to cut them in 1/2 to fit on a cracker! True story! Great atmosphere and a friendly staff. Prices were fair for a tourist town. Alligator taxidermy was a plus! Gator Man

This place is terrible. Went today at about 6:00 the bartender said he’d be right with us and we sat at bar for 15-20 min and the bartender never came over to us at all. We walked out and went to royal house oyster bar and sat at bar and got served immediately. Still at royal house oyster bar now and this place has great service.
