We went here based on reviews. It was not good, don't get the hype. Gumbo terrible, really disappointed. Basically over seasoned broth, no sustance. Short staffed, no fault to them. But we were never given utensils or able to get anyone to give us some. Skip it.

I paid 25 dollars round trip to get here and you were closed!!!! It said open UPDATE YOUR GOOGLE WHEN YOU ARE A TOURIST ATTRACTION!!! Wasted my money with nothing to eat! I’ll never come here again and we visit twice a year!

We were welcomed even we made it nick of time before closing. We ordered Special Fried Oysters, Shrimps & Beignet and Sandwich/Soup (Shrimp Po'Boy and Gumbo). Blue Hurricanes! Did not disappoint. Cozy interior dining!

We love NOLA. Visit couple times a year but usually don't get a chance to go far from the Quarter. We had an opportunity to visit this place when a friend, who is a local, brought us, his suggestion. I'm so glad he did. Food was amazing. Great little bar with fun vibe.

I'm a southern gal so I appreciate a welcome when I enter an establishment, especially when traveling alone. I was not initially acknowledged.I went here because of the google reviews. The food did not disappoint.I had the BBQ shrimp po boy. It doesn't come with fries and you don't need them. This sandwich is huge and delicious! I wasn't going to eat the bread... watching the waist, ya' know. But I made the mistake of forking off what I thought would be one bite. Oh my! That bread was so good I ate it all.The sauce seemed more like a gravy and it was killer. Loads of shrimp were on the plate AND the shrimp were deveined. If you know, you know.The place is small and appeared to be a local joint for the most part, although with continued great Google reviews, you'll find more visitors I suppose. I overheard a family saying, "We read online..."I wish you continued success as you are cooking up some great food.

Always a great place to go if you want that local neighborhood pub experience in NOLA
Great vibe! Off the beaten track - we were 20 min in an Uber to get there, but well worth it. Gumbo was sooooo good. And we had the bbq shrimp po boy ( house specialty) and we loved it!
We were on a mission to find good Poboys! These were by far the best ones we have ever had! The barbecue shrimp Poboy won the table with the Buffster being a close second!

Stopped in for lunch as I was watching racing at Fairgrounds, the service was prompt and friendly. Started with the gumbo, by far the best I've ever had, an incredible blend of flavors. Then ordered the BBQ shrimp Po Boy, one of the best things I've ever eaten, the roll was outstanding, the shrimp prepared perfectly and the combination of flavors was mouth watering, I will be back!
