Michaels seafood USED TO be incredible. The people there (Tabatha!!) were always the best smiling faces.The new service after the new ownership is so terrible. I waited hours for crawfish (which during lent I could understand). After getting my crawfish (at 5:30 when I got there at 3:30) I get home for the double PAPER bag to have completely broken through when I lifted it. (I live maybe 8 minutes away.) I even told myself to go back inside and get a plastic bag. Juice is all in my carpet now.This used to be my favorite spot. Now I’ll find somewhere new.

I feel bad leaving a review with less than 5 stars because I've been going here for many years, it is practically in my backyard. I've always loved the food, price, and most importantly the service was always solid. I've never felt like I've been penny and dimed for anything here before. But for the past several months, the usual friendly and generous service have changed with the new person at the register. I've been telling people for years to come to Michael's, but now I'm a little less inclined to do so. The other day, I was only 2 or 3 boiled shrimps over the weight limit, and she pulled it out of my bag, and when I got home, there was a lot of water weight in my bag.
