We stopped in on a whim to grab something quick to eat before a museum tour and I could not be more satisfied! The woman went out on a limb for me to make a breakfast burrito and it was so so good! Perfectly cooked and just what I needed for my day. Also to top it off the place was so cute and comfy and if I had more time would have been a great place to hang out. Would definitely recommend trying this place out and I will go back!

Stopped in here late morning after a work training for a little pick-me-up. It was my first time. I didn't catch the lady's name who served me but she was delightful. I let her pick which drink to make as I was undecided. She chose a frozen peach tea with mango purée and citrus on top. It was so light yet full-bodied and refreshing. I'll definitely be back!!!

Tea was really good. I want to go back and get some food as the kitchen closed right before I got there!Edit: I went back a second time and got the breakfast sandwich. It was very good! I really like this place and could easily see it being my go to spot in Mid City on return visits. Service was great, shout out to the cashier who was having a rough first day!

Just drinks when I went. They were out of chai. Had a green tea latte and it was like mainlining simple syrup. Yuk.

High prices for what it is, but their food does taste pretty darn good. I really like the easy, study-friendly vibe they have there, but they don't seem to comprehend their demographic. They have stocked the place with textbooks, wide tables, and ample wall plugs. You're playing to diligent students. However, they brought in a blaring musician last weekend. Not a good call.

biscuits are really good, baked in-house. if there's a line be prepared to wait a while, > 30 minutes

Came here for the first time, and the guy at the register/ barista was very rude. When asked a question he looked confused and bothered. Place had 2 people at tables and no one in line but me. Coffee was not good too. Don’t recommend. If you’re looking for great coffee and friendly service don’t even bother coming here.

Had their cafe au lait. Not much can go wrong with that. I would have liked a darker roast, but this one was good for an afternoon pick-me-up. The weather was perfect for sitting outside.

The coffee is great and the atmosphere is amazing. I had the original breakfast sandwich on a bagel with sausage it was just okay. I feel it needed an aioli sauce on it to give it more flavor. My wife had the BEAL-T on a croissant which she thought was amazing it had cream cheese as a sauce.

This fun shop had good seating, live music on a Saturday, and great cappuccino. Would have easily given 5 stars if we had been acknowledged by the barista, been asked to wait as he was obviously short staffed or maybe even received a smile. I would go back because I like the name, but the coffee is good too.

extremely chill vibes here at monkey monkey. prices are solid - $3 for a small iced coffee and $6 for a basic breakfast sandwich with eggs, bacon, and cheese! my brother and i came at 1145am on a Wednesday and there were only about 5 other people here. the noise isn't bad at all. the music was very good and upbeat, but not too loud. They have a lot of seating options as well. the walls are very vibrant and the long windows make it very vibey and light! I'd recommend it and I definitely plan to be back.

My first visit here, and I'm so glad they weren't busy cuz I asked A MILLION questions ?Wonderful service and great environment. Ordered a breakfast sandwich with two ingredients that I'm not accustomed to, at any time of day, let alone breakfast ? The Heart Beet. They didn't have the pickled red onions, but I love red onions in any presentation. The raw onions actually gave a nice punch of flavor. I'm sure glad I stopped by and tried something new!! Haven't gotten to my coffee drink yet... cuz who eats raw onions and beets with a white chocolate latte ?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️???? I'm sure it'll be fantastic!

You cannot come to New Orleans and not try this place. Small but powerful. I came in for a quick coffee but stayed for over an hour to work. Friendly staff, parking isn't an issue and very good food
