Service was a bit slow, but food made up for it. The pasta was to die for and the hennyrita was delish. Sadly they were out of greens so I got the yams and they were still good, but I was craving greens.I’d come back next time I’m in town

Morrows was a place I knew I had to go to on our recent trip to New Orleans. It was recommended by TicTok, Instagram and YouTube. It was A HUGE disappointment ?. The steak was seasoned well but came in pieces and was cold. This is unacceptable for a $36 steak. The macaroni had too much garlic. Popeyes has better redbeans and rice?. The burger was actually very good but the bun should've been heated. The garlic mashed potatoes were good. The chicken wasn't special. I can definitely fry better chicken at home. The gumbo was the star of the show. It was seasoned very well. The waiter was average. I had such high hopes but this was a complete letdown . This is my honest review and personal opinion.

Attended this restaurant August of 2023 while visiting New Orleans. It was recommended by the CBSA before leaving Canada. Food is amazing. Where I have a concern is there was a mistake on our bill that was not caught until we returned to our Hotel. Probably due to how amazing the food was at this establishment. We contacted the manager and told there would be a reimbursement to our credit card within 24 hours. Followed up a second time and was told the same thing. April 2024, we have not received any reimbursement to our credit card. The manager has no integrity when it comes to customer service.I would attend this establishment again. The food is amazing. Check your bill before leaving. The waitress was amazing, I would rather have given her the $35.00 tip vs. giving it to the restaurant for a dish I did not get to enjoy.

I ordered the redfish. After waiting almost 2 hours for our food, my food arrives and was so salty that it was inedible. I sent my food back and after waiting so long already, there wasn’t any more time left to order a new dish. My husband’s food tasted OK. The crawfish bread we got as an appetizer was also not good, more like cheese bread. The bill included a mandatory 20%, which may explain the overall poor service we received.

The food was absolutely insane, I didn’t want my bowl of gumbo ramen to ever end. Shoutout to the bartender for the amazing drinks (the passionfruit margarita.. *chefs kiss*) and Paige for the incredible service. Our group is just visiting the area but best believe this is the first place we’re coming back to when we’re in town!

We were visiting New Orleans for a few days and our AirBNB host recommended this place & we’re so glad they did! We had several dishes at our table but my favorites were the BBQ Shrimp app & Gumbo Ramen. Paige, our server, along w/ the lady she was training were total rockstars!! Don’t skip this spot when in New Orleans! Thank you to the team for the good vibes & amazing food! Next time we’re in town, we’ll be back!
