Food - not to NOLA standards, service with an attitude problem, which unfortunately ruined the ambiance. We do not recommend.

My wife and I absolutely loved our meal at N7. The atmosphere is incredible, the staff was all wonderful, and the food was fantastic. We ordered a ton of small plates and everything was tremendous, but the venison, cabbage, and pavlova were our personal favorites. This will be an absolute return for us and we will recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an incredible dining experience in New Orleans

One of my favorite places to take visitors for a delicious meal out. Love the seasonal menu and the stunning garden atmosphere! Soy sauce crème brûlée was divine!

You NEED to go here. I will literally fly back to New Orleans just to eat here again. Food, drinks, service, ambiance - everything was a spot on!

Honestly the best meal I might've ever had. There's no excuse to spend your money anywhere else. Service was perfect. Food was perfect. Do not sleep.

Our first visit to N7 was within a couple weeks of their opening in 2015 and we’ve been back several times per year since then. The menu has evolved but it’s always a great experience. We went for Easter brunch and the food was delicious as always. Our party of 5 shared the outstanding avocado and beets salads. I loved my French Onion soup. The sandwiches (salmon a couple of different ways, fried chicken, and hamburger) were all devoured. And the pavlova dessert that’s somehow always perfect (kudos to the pastry chef cuz it’s not that easy!). The atmosphere is cool, calm, and French country. The servers are efficient and just the right amount of attentive. N7 has long been a favorite, go-to restaurant and I can’t foresee that changing any time soon!Wheelchair accessibility: We reserved the patio and it was just fine for our wheelchair bound guest.

The place: we sat outside, which was a dream for these chicagoans in February. Twinkle lights decorated the area. Service was patient and helpful and spaced things pretty appropriately. The taste: the cheese board - what a steal. Overflowing with grapes and many other delicious bites. A really good value for I think $25. I'd maybe skip the boiled eggs. It took a bit for us to peel them ‍. Frog legs were delightful. Everything else - drinks to dessert, very well done. I may have enjoyed the rabbit crepe more than my man, but to each their own. I would say I wasn't in love with the snails, but I was determined to try them again, and they were prepared nicely, I was just searching for something specific. My face: shocked at the level of quality and variety of the food paired with the cost - felt like a very good value. Bill was $125 pre-tip for two of us with a few drinks.

The ambience and food were terrific, but we were not impressed with the service. The server rushed through the specials and requested that we order all of our food at once because they were so busy (even though there were many empty tables). It took 2 hours for us to be served 3 appetizers and 4 small plates.

We had booked N7 for our final night in New Orleans and were incredibly excited for the experience - especially as someone who has actually lived and eaten in France - but unfortunately it just didn't deliver. When we checked in for our reservation, the hostess was dismissive and terse, and was actively complaining in front of us to a colleague about how the restaurant was overbooked. It was windy & cold and we were seated in a totally open area without any heaters or other shelter but decided to try and stick with it - we started by ordering soups and the bread basket to warm up. Unfortunately all were underwhelming: the soups were both served lukewarm; the soup du jour (a mushroom coconut bisque) had so much acid it tasted almost rancid; and 2 of the 3 pieces of bread that comprised the "bread basket" were a cold wheat roll and what tasted like a stale brioche, respectively. Ultimately we left after that course and went to get a casual but far better meal elsewhere - as our final dinner in New Orleans, it was just an unfortunately disappointing experience all around.

What a wonderful surprise to find this lovely spot! We were in town for a wedding, and we're only familiar with the regional cuisine: i.e. gumbo, shrimp and grits, etc. Luckily, we did some research. It's just a non-descript door with N7 printed on it (named for a road connecting France and Italy). Go inside and you're in another world. Beautifully French-inspired decor. We sat in the spacious patio. The food is exquisite. My favorite dish were the superb scallops-- tender, perfectly cooked with caviar on top(?). 2nd fave was the creamy mushroom soup, a balanced blend of flavors. The bouillabaisse was excellent, with ample mussels and fish. The wine list was eclectic and inspired, featuring small producers from Europe. For dessert, we savored the pavlova. Our service was excellent. I highly recommend this little escape from the 'normal' restaurant scene in NOLA. You'll need a reservation.

Did I not write a review for this fabulous find? Oh well, here I am two months later still dreaming about my fantastic meal at N7. The covered patio was perfect for a chilly winter evening, and the staff, the food, the wine, the soy sauce creme brulee, what? so good! All of it was dreamy. I'm still in love.

Food was good to average, service subpar, atmosphere great. If it’s meant to be a European-style experience they succeeded, but I get the sense they’re just slow.Plan on spending 2 hours and $200 for dinner for 2.
