This area of New Orleans is bustling and busy so we appreciated the parking lot almost directly adjacent to this restaurant (you can book online or once there). We'd picked up our new puppy earlier in the day so we sat in the lovely courtyard and enjoyed fantastic food and service! We will definitely return when in New Orleans again!

The food that we ate was good. Unfortunately, the two things that I really wanted, they were out of. I had reserved a table on OpenTable. (Highly recommend reserving a table). When we got there, they did not have our reservation, but was able to seat us in the bar area. They were out of all salads, most appetizers, and all desserts.

Stopped in for dinner before the Sugar Bowl parade. Had the shrimp and catfish platter. It was very good. Had a local amber beer with meal. Never disappointed with NOLA food.

I wanted to come here after my last visit. I had the raw oysters, and the seafood gumbo. Both were okay. Not as good as I remembered, sad to say.

We got seated on the terrace because the abundance of empty seats were for people that made reservations. Wasn't a big deal, just chilly. The waiter had not been trained AT ALL. He was very nice but had no idea how to be a server. Brought out silverware out in a single napkin instead of rolled silverware. Had to go ask for rolled silverware so we could all have a napkin. The host then started talking trash about the guy. Very unprofessional. Never got a refill and the cocktail sauce that came if the oysters on a half shell was in a dipping cup that you would expect at a fast food restaurant. No crackers or hot sauce with it. Asked for bread and after about 20 minutes was told they were out. It happens. The oysters at a lot of grit and shell in them. The food was mediocre at best. The fried red fish and red beans and rice was good though as was the charbroiled oysters. $275 for a fast food type meal. Never again.

It is what you would expect. It is not an out-of-the-way gem or super expensive. It is a solid restaurant that accommodates families and provides a good meal in a pleasant environment. My only advice is don't get the key lime pie....

We found this place looking for authentic Creole cuisine, specifically Jambalaya and Gumbo. It is in the touristy French Quarter and had a nice atmosphere, but the food was so-so. The gumbo appetizer was overly salty; the wedge salad was very good. The main courses, Jambalaya and Shrimp Creole, were not bad but left us thirsty and with that dry too-much-MSG taste in the mouth for the rest of the evening.

Atmosphere was nice, but food is very bland. Not at all what you were expecting from a creole cookery they were out of a lot of things. Out of several wines we tried to order and out of condiments. Whoever does their ordering is terrible.

Reserved dinner due to being Thanksgiving but still had to wait 15min for table to be “ready” (and was clearly a busy night!) but food was not as excellent as we had hoped nor what the prices suggested. Would try somewhere else next time…

We came for Thanksgiving being from out of town. We tried to ignore the negative reviews and were hopeful they were misplaced. The food was terrible and literally inedible!!! We don’t normally complain, but we did tell our waiter when he took our plates with 95% uneaten. There was really no apology or any offer of a free desert or drink. Just the bill dropped on our table for over $100. Go elsewhere and save your money and your time.

Stopped by for an early dinner and were seated on the patio. We tried a chicken dish along with a pasta dish which included shrimp, sausage and chicken. Both were tasty. Service and the atmosphere were pleasant.

Food was inedible - seafood salad was off and shrimp creole was Luke warm and smothered in sauce - more like soup. Disgruntled manager when we complained.

We decided one night to get some authentic Creole food. We found this place in the French quarter. It ended up being exactly what we wanted. I had a sampler of shrimp creole, gumbo, red beans and rice, and crawfish etouffee. It was all excellent although I must admit I did not care for the etouffee. My friends did like it.

The food was excellent but the service was superb! Our server was Jackie and she was professional, informative, knowledgeable about the menu items. Jackie made our dining experience a real pleasure.

One of my new favorite restaurants in NOLA! Not only was the food delicious but the service was unmatched- Jason K took such great care of us, keeping our drinks flowing, providing personalized food recommendations based on our very specific and individual tastes (all of which were a hit!) and making us feel fully attended to while juggling a pretty busy lunch hour.
