I have frequented this spot often over 6 years before today. Me and my son usually grab a snowball and nachos and head out or sit outside and eat. Today, my son's friend joined us and they are both 6. Nachos in a back seat with 2 six year Olds can get pretty hectic. There was only one other car when we pulled up but we were the first inside. I asked 3 times if they were closing and was ignored and asked "how many snowballs?". He didn't ask rudely. However, my question went unanswered. I ordered the nachos as well and after I paid we headed outside. I noticed the chairs were chained already and we just sat to eat the nachos quickly. After he finished the other family's snowball...he comes out and says we're closing soon. Mind you, I would have gotten the nachos if he had said that. So I said guys let's hurry and eat so we can get out of here. A few minutes after he left from telling us they were closing, they turned the lights off. I scurried the boys and we got in the car. I wasn't going to write the review because I understood they were closing. But as the boys were buckling up, the lights came back on and have remained on with no one coming outside during the entire time I am writing this review. As a single mother alone with 2 young boys, this felt very unfriendly. Like I said, I wasn't even going to write this review, however, this put a bad taste in my mouth. They are scheduled to close at 7 and it's 6:17 as I'm finishing this up. Do with this information as you will.Parking: It's a limit to the spots available.Kid-friendliness: Usually, it's a grab and go and no problems. Today was the worst experience I've had as many times as I've been here.

I got the strawberry snowball with condense milk. Best snowballs in the gentilly area handsdownParking: They have a few spaces in front and on the side. If they're busy you will have to park on the street.

Snowballs are very expensive and the syrup tasted watered down. $4.25 for a large is more than what I would pay somewhere

My problem is that if I eat an entire snowball I will crash for the hours from the sugar crash. Other than that, the snowballs here are great.

I didn’t like my recent experienceSome heavy weighted guy was already getting into with a coworker when I walked in and redirected his energy to me while I was ordering. I asked for the large stuffed snowball , however as I’m telling him he’s walking away. The heavy weighted guy looked at me and said what did I say I repeated my order and he said he can’t remake what’s already made rolled his eyes like a female and said underneath his breath “I need to learn how to order “ I’ve been coming to this snowball stand since I was 6 i think I know how to order buddy. My guy needs a couple days off from work if he ain’t happy at work.
