Great beer and friendly staff! A very good spot off the beaten path with a great beer garden and a neighborhood feel.

Wow, what a surprise - the beer aficionado's brewery to visit away from the touristy part of town. Focusing heavily on mixed fermentation (read: tart/brett styles) and saisons, with a smattering of enough others to satisfy groups. Serene outdoor area, except when the trains go right by the door (such is life). And a great value. Loved it.

I might be rating this place a little on the tough side, but I feel like it's a fair rating. Please also recognize that I like this place and might even go back. The folks running the place are very welcoming and nice and I love supporting local breweries. Having said that, it seems like mostly tourists visit this place. Here's my honest impression - I stopped by for a mixed 4-pack to go after having visited a couple days ago for an afternoon pour, and nothing really left an impression. I figured I'd try again with a different selection, but $18 for a 4-pack of pint cans to go signals a high level of confidence in their brews, so I expected high quality. I like stouts so grabbed 2 of their imperial stout cans which added a premium of $6 for my 4-pack of mix and match. I haven't tasted all of my selections yet, but I'm disappointed in the imperial stout. I've had many imperial stouts, and this one is not great. It lacks balance and the flavor of alcohol very much over powers what I love about stouts - the malt sweetness, bitterness, and rich, complex undertones of chocolate, coffee, or even fruit sometimes. This one tasted more like an underwhelming stout that someone spilled rum or some other spirits in. To be very fair some people might like this flavor profile in their imperial stout - after all this is subjective - but this is not my opinion of what a high-quality imperial stout should taste like, and certainly does not merit the premium price. Why not just drop a shot of your favorite spirits in your beer? I think a high quality imperial stout is much more complex and nuanced than that.If you have the time and freedom, I'd recommend going down the street to the Bywater Brew Pub instead. The atmosphere is also very welcoming, the furniture is more comfortable, and the brews are just better. I'd take their 'birthday sex' stout over the imperial from this brewery every day. It's far more complex, rich, and balanced - and reasonably priced. The folks running that brew pub are also very welcoming and accommodating, so all things considered, Bywater Brew Pub is the clear winner in the area.

Geezus tried to go on a Friday night. A bunch of screaming toddlers running around with no supervision. Makes for an unpleasant evening for people with no kids or people with behaving kids.

Nice environment and great service. Lady who served us was very friendly. Back area was nice. I tried a number of 5 ounce pours. They were all great.

Parleaux is an amazing place for interesting one of a kind beers. I had not been there since 2019....until today. So glad they have expanded their hours to include Tuesday. Back in 2019 I had to wait until Thursday to go. So much better than Avenue Pub which truly stinks.I returned again on November 28. Beer is awesome and CJ is great too.

Best local micro brewery by far!!

The best West Coast IPA I've ever had. No food but options in the area.

Great atmosphere, very hang out feel. Most beers are good, but not humerus. The Brown English and the Green with Envy are the best in the menu. CJ was a huge help with getting the information we needed. Thank you CJ.

Easily one of the best breweries of the trip is in a quiet corner of Bywater residential district. The brewery is tucked away from the normal hustle and bustle of NOLA, which is a great change of pace. The hidden brewery offers a modest size tap room, but you will be spending the entire trip at the chill’est beer garden with plenty of space and shade. Our favorite beers from Parleaux Beer Lab are the Green with Envy IPA and Strange Memories on this Nervous Night Sour. Can you guess which of us voted for the IPA, and who voted the sour? Green with Envy is the southern take on a NEIPA, and I think they did the style justice. It was the best NEIPA we had during our trip down to Louisiana. If you’re looking for something a bit more adventurous, Strange Memories on this Nervous Night may be for you. The sour ale with plums, lemon and sea salt was remarkably plummy. Not too sour, not to face puckering but a perfect blend of plum with hints of lemon and sea salt.

CJ helped me out, I tried four of their beers and they were absolutely all delicious. The sour was my favorite, but the fact that they offer multiple pilsners is very impressive.I'm marking it down as a favorite New Orleans beer spot, and I'm glad that I stopped in.They even offer free distilled water that they distill themselves, which was very refreshing.Excellent joint, A+. CJ was super great. I'll be back and you should stop in!
